Thread: Suggestion: Special Edition Goggles available for purchase

I was dicussing this with a few folks over Teamspeak, and we all agreed that we would like to see Special Edition Goggles made purchasable through some medium so that players who hadn't bought the Collector's Edition at SWG's release could buy their own pair of goggles.
- Player heads to an SOE website where he or she purchases an SE Goggles activation key.
- The key is sent to the player's predetermined email address.
- Upon receiving the key, the player inputs the activation key into some sort of online forum and makes his or her account goggle-enabled.
- Player loads up a character ingame and uses the /segoggles command.
Players are given a chance to get their very own Special Edition Goggles, and SOE gets to make some extra cash.

If they do something like that, it should only be for the veterans from the first several months.

QFE,
I think it'd be cool if there was some really hard quest you could do to get goggles ( different from the SE kind, but still cool)

Yup its a good idea.
I was informed on a different thread you could register a SE account code as an expansion so tried that to get some goggles and as I thought it didn't work.
I think though as much as I'd like the original goggles I doubt they would be made available in game but maybe some other ones would be cool.

if you were too cheap to pay another 30 bucks for the se then you shouldnt be able to get it
