No, you shouldn't be able to purchase them, or atleast ones of the same style. If they look different, hey that's fine with me. But these are "special edition" goggles, meaning that you need the collector's edition to get them. What would be the point of buying the collector's edition if everyone would be able to get the special things in it?

SORRY, BUT IF YOU CAN STILL FIND A COLLECTORS SET THEN BUY IT AND GET WHAT YOU WANT SO BAD. GOGGLES ARE NOT ALL THAT COME WITH IT. IF NOT STOP TRYING TO LIVE THE RAINBOW FISH AND REALIZE THAT EVERYONE IS NOT ENTILTLED TO ALL THINGS UNLESS EARNED, OR PAID FOR. NO GIMMES HERE.

Seriously, goggles look so gay. Not like we're a bunch of welders. I dont know why anyone would want this(or pay 30 frikin dollars for it!), besides maybe just to have something rare.

the goggles aren't all you get, lesse, i got a lil' SWG enamel pin that i keep on my clan hat, lil' pewter female zabrak carbineer thingy that found her home ontop of my speaker, an embroidered swg patch that is still in the box cause i don't feel like sewing it onto anything, the fancy concept art book that used to be exclusive, but they sold it for like $20 at fanfest 04...and what i refer to as my trandoshan skin swg box that i now keep my swg game, publish downloads, jtl preorder beta, jtl bet1, soon to be rotw discs in. and of course the goggles (that i think are stupid btw) you actually got alot for the extra $30

I wouldn't mind other eyeware being made available to everyone, but I paid money for my SE Goggles and think they should remain unique.
Just like the cool Japan eyepiece. Love to have it, but realize I never will. Maybe one like it, someday, I hope.
Eyeware has been an ongoing wish, you'd think they'd grant it.
But, seeing as it seems the Veterans are getting the shaft concerning the BARC, it would't surprise me to see them make our SE goggles available. Why stop giving us the shaft now?
Just like the cool Japan eyepiece. Love to have it, but realize I never will. Maybe one like it, someday, I hope.

I don't think the Special Edition goggles should be purchaseable. I would really like to see more accessorywear in-game, but I'm not sure how glasses could be implemented in-game without diminishing the "specialness" of the SE or any other promotion.

So because goggles were a "special edition gift", there shouldnt be more eyewear and glasses made by the devs for us all?

not just eyewear they should have an expansion pack (separate from swg andJTL, and ROTW)come out that offers all of the eyewear and the monicle(?) and the flash and the barc speeder with maybe some new clothes furniture and houses, mounts (still have to be tailor, CH and arch to craft them)... maybe all of whichcould not be tradable, or just have certain items tradable... sort of likea "SIMS" type expansion. This way everybody would have to "purchase something" to get what everybody else has and we are all happy and SOE is happy cuz they get more of our money. I dont know, its late... just thinking outloud
