Hey, I was hunting force sensitive and trained npc's on dantoonie in a group and i looted 2 Petrified Avian Egg's. Anyone know what they are for? I heard from someone they are used in making lightsabers, which is why I'm posting here. Just wondering what they are for. btw, they mysteriously deleted themselves from my inventory today which I thought was wierd... they are probably useless anyway.

I got like 40 of those, and like 40 'rare' ancient artifacts from killing those same guys. They make nice floor decorations in my house =P

They are pretty common. The description says something like 'learning anything about this item could take several lifetimes' or close to that.

On a mission yesterday I looted a Petrified Avian Egg. Its description says:

"An extremely interesting archaeological find - shrouded in mystery. Learning the truth about this artifact could take many lifetimes."

Anyone have any idea what this is or what I'm supposed to do with it?

not sure what its going to do... but I got one as well. lmk if u find out.

you could probably sell it to a junk dealer for 10 creds.

What is it? What do I do with it? Any ideas?

I am now finally getting loot after 2 days of absolutely nothing. I am getting something with every loot attempt now. USually just credits but also weird stuff like this egg.

It's one of those opotional upgrade components that people love to get for their armor and weapons, but the egg is for a lightsaber.

Ok well,I don't know that but no one knows what it is for yet. So, I figure I will just make up my own use for it.

Could be for a lightsaber. It looks like a force crystal

these have been around for a long time. They originally looked like a crackedegg with a stone base, but after the patch that added lightsaber components the graphic for them changed and looks likeforce crystal now.

Thye dont have any use, they are just decorative items, and items for missions.

I think I just wet my pants.... that was a good one

well i looted one and i got the option to slice it so i said wth and i sliced it for 43% encumb so its either jedi armor or a part of the ris armor
