Thread: AFK/Macro Questions and Irritation...
It doesn't really bother me that we have to compete with other people for loot. That is just the way it is, but the fact that I cannot even come close to competing with a bunch of people that aren't even on the computer is just stupid.
I read a CSR response on the CSR Forum that said we should /report anyone that is doing this and they'll investigate. I'm not sure if this is truth or not, but I'll start doing it.

and Just because AFK macro happening in this area is common knowledge doesn't mean one of those doin it wouldn't come to this thread and try to draw the attention away from what is going either does it?

It is one thing to be at the keyboard killing and looting, but when they are AFK macroing and not even looting corpses? That is sad my friend.
Fact is, it is the principle. I could go OD someone if I wanted to. I try to be social and even group with members of the opposite faction. Put it on random or lottery loot and away you go! 
You might even make a friend!
There is a difference between sharing and flat out greed. I was with one guy looting and he demanded that I switch it to free for all. I said nope we share. Fricking babies. I don't get it must be a single kid in the family or bad parenting. You can get some tapes you don't need and sell them. Sure everyone wants a tape that others loot. But I have flat out bought tapes from people if I need them. "Hey I will give your 300k for that." "Sure!"
There are so many other options. And that is the point. The principle is that is wrong and no one should do it and it should be a gentlemen's agreement sort of thing.
If I know that someone AFK's down there I let it be known in game and on the forums.

And yes, if you're afk camping you have a loot macro on. I use a AoE/loot macro just makes it easier to farm canyon corsairs and other things...you don't even have to pay attention much just move around hehe.
But yeah, on Ahazi there are always the same group of people down there with two jedi. I don't kill other rebel jedi but I'm really starting to think about exceptions to the rule (have already made one) if it's for a personal reason.
And yeah, carebear rules suck, they should do overt/covet the old way and not this retarded way it is now. I also support bringing back the old TEF laws relating for BH's and Jedi...it makes no sense that 3 BH's can gank a jedi in front of his group, and I'm a bounty hunter. Still, it gives people like me who like to hunt alone a pure chance at a fair 1 vs. 1 fight (if I want it to be fair). Yeah, be careful who you make mad.
