I can think of one thing that could stop AFK Campers & their super-Fast macros.
It's all about Looting in the end, so could it be Possible to make looting Radial "Only"?
I Know it would be bloody annoying, but it would give everyone a chance & not just those who are able to write Complex Macros to beat the system.
If it were done like this, then the only way to AFK would be through 3rd parties, making it easier to determine who is using them & who is acctually there.

no, that would suck. i have macros set up now for loot and harvest whatever, all bound to ctrl keys, makes the game so much more fun. besides, 'recursive macros are going away' Soon(tm). afk ppl are not that big of a problem anyway, throw in the 'no one owns a spawn' rule of soe, and they don't care. ive seen a couple go down in flames in the akun cave recently, quite funny. i made sure to /laugh at thier dead corpse

Pets have brackets round the name, so Nyax would be (Nyax) so a /tar Nyax wouldn't work on the pet.
Right. Dangit, I knew that, I just forgot.
Ah well, it was a nice dream while it lasted.

I would not reccommend using any form of technique to bungle the afk guys groove. Making a pet like that, or doing other things to mess up his macro ARE considered griefing. Ihave read threads in this very forumof players being banned for messing with afk campers, and have had some personal experience with it too (I used to let my alt get deathblowed next to a afk camper, then his /Target Corpse macro would hang up when it targeted me, because my body wont loot and vanish, so the /Tar corpse macro stays stuck on my corpse untilI finally clone or get logged) I got warned that this was considered griefing and doing it again would get me suspended. It seems that the afk'ers get a lot more sympathy from the devs than most others.I assume its becuause they are
considered a low maintanace player, they camp in the one spot all the time, and so they experience very few bugs, and therefore they submit very few complaints. This amounts to less work for the devs, and less work is just what they want.

Why not build a MSE droid and when it gets to the product naming phase type in NYAX that way NYAX will show up above it instead of (NYAX). Then deploy the droid and have it follow you.
Or does this even work?

Seems that they could put some code in that would monitor player's movement, such that if they aren't dancing or playing music and they have not moved from there current position in 30 minutes then get logged off for AFK. This may affect others so maybe it should be able to check also to see if that player keeps engaging in combat. Or instead of autologging them, have the game dump all there running macros. That should work nicely now with no auto attack to defend. They would stand there and get pounded if the mob should aggro. Of course if the mob is much lower level they don't attack. Maybe that rule should not apply to NPCs.

When you generate the droid from the deed, it always reverts to its default name. You have to name it after you generate it, which causes the (brackets).

dont make it radial only, leave the double click option. Just remove the /loot command, theres no need for it other than AFK campers and loot ninjas

If you want them off of your loot spot. You will need a pistoleer with feign death. Have him aggro a bunch of baddies run to where the afk'ers are and feign. Then watch the fun as the afk'ers attack something and get aggroed by everything. Might be considered griefing, but if they arent at the keyboard, in my opinion they arent playing the game.

i've done this before, its not illegal as long as the NPCs dont aggro the player themselves.
Problem is that NPCs tend to -retreat- if you try and drag them too far. You dont need feign either really, as the AFKer is likely to draw their aggro with his AoE macro as soon as they get in his LoS anyway. Problem is there arent that many mobs in the Aakuan caves that arent one- or two-hitters anyway. Trick is to draw them down when his action is very low from spamming specials on his spawn, so that he only attacks once every 10s or so when his action regens enough to fire another AoE.
