For the BARC speeder I have an idea of how they should make us be able to get it. Let the people who get the all in one thing get it and also make a mission for Master Artisians. This is how it will work. You go to this Cantina and youll see a clone like Mort, except no cyber arm. When you talk to him, you have a conversation with him about how he was in the clone wars and that he wants to get off of the planet but doesnt have a ship or any money. He asks you if you can help him by getting him a ship. So you get 3 wp and you need to either put a harvester down or harvest your self for 500 of 3 materials. any steel, polymester, and a gas. Or something that would more likely be used to build a ship. then you give it to him and he sais thanks and he asks you to take it to a place and get a ship built with a special code he gives you. When you give him the deed for it he gives you the schematic for the BARC speeder. It takes a bit more recources that a swoop so it would cost around 30-35k. Post any ideaspls.

the point of the people not getting over the barc speeder is that everyone who was an existing player WAS able to get the varactyl and tat speeder, it was just that they needed to order early to qualify. Now they are making the requirements for getting the BARC that you buy thegame again.

SOE here are showing several things

(1) they dont feel it is important to reward long term players as much as it is important to bribe new players in. In a word they are looking at the new to mid range players more than the long term players for their revenue,

(2) SOE devs clearly, depsite their protestations, have lost touch with the player bases reasons for playing and havent recognised that players who play long term like to collect eveything they can and to have something they cant reach without spending extra cash for a needless item is evidence of either SOEs lack of insight or more scarely, their contempt for such players.

(3) you ll notice the varactly is tradeable so the comments above are somewhat incorrect.

Thinks SOE killed SWG
Thinks SOE are a laighing stock
Thinks Smedley should throw himself on his own sabre
Is disgusted with SOE's changes to the game
Will have his signature deleted and account banned bacause SOE doesnt like people saying they are useless
