Jaekew you are the selfish one. People went out and spent extra $$ for the package to get the Barc and you want to just make their gift for that worthless by giving it to Artisans to flood the game with it. Seems pretty selfish to me.

In my opinon, your being the selfish one, saying you went out and spent $30 to get a speeder, is just like buying a jedi off of ebay. Its true that you own it, but did you really earn it.Without a quest to get them, us who pre-ordered rotw, get a big a$$ slap in the face because if we want a barc speeder, we get to pay another $30! And dont pull some bull$hit like "you pre-order guys get the varactyl" from what I heard, there is another varactyl mount quest.
Edit: the 3 vehicles that the artisans got, are almost the same thing, with a exception of the v-35 holding 6 people as compared to the others that hold 2.

The problem is, one of the best vehicles in the game can't actually be obtained in the game.

Yes there is a Quest for the Varactyl. You need to be a Master CH to do the quest. And the reward creature is a Level 65 pet.and I belive that I heard some where that you needed to have done the Download to be able to do the quest (i could be wrong there.....)

1. I don't remember much of a argument if artisans could make the flash speeders or not... because swoops were already faster.
2. How is buying a box earning it?
3. And did I say I wanted artisans to make it? I just said there should be a quest for the people who didn't buy the total experience, as long as they have rotw or something.

Otherwise it would be pretty unfair cause the box clearly says "exclusive ingame-item". If SOE pays all the money to the people back who bought the box and waited for the speeder then they can make it available by quest.

4. I have a BARC speeder and I believe all who have rotw should have a chance of getting it, but i'd kinda rather not have the artisans make the BARC speeders untill maybe a year from now when they would be less in-demand.Message Edited by blackgunz on 05-29-2005 08:09 AM
2. You pay RL money for it. For me this means "earning it".
3. Then there has to be a quest for the Flash Speeder or sunglasses too for people who didn't get them.
4. I don't think so. Sunglasses from the Collectors Edition or the Flash Speeder from JtL aren't available to everyone too.
