Ok, I feel the air needs to be cleared on this issue. Seems to be a hot topic.
24 hour AFK camping gives an unfair advantage to specific players. It is just like solo-missions, or double buffs, warcry-spamming, etc. It is something that the game allows, but is obviously unfair to most players.
THAT SAID....
constantly complaining about AFK campers is non-productive. They have the high power weapons that they paid for, the armor that they aquired, and they pay 15 dollars a month like you do. Let's be fair....if you say you have a right to the loot, so do they.
BUT
NOONE has the rigtht to exclusively farm a spawnpoint. Noone....not those that are whining about those doing it, or those that are whining about people complaining about it.
LONG TERM AFK campers....give your fellow players a chance once in a while to grab some loot, or find yourself nerfed. It is going to happen, you know it is going to happen, you know what you are doing is wrong, so give them a shot and stop them from whining before the Devs take notice.
Excessive whiners.....if you wish to overcome the short term campers, you need to do what they have done...buy the armor and weapons and outdamage them. They have a right to the loot as much as you do.
Nuff said.

So long as afk entertainer bots are allowed to deny access to content to live entertainersI fully support the right of combat bots to deny access to content to live combatants. Go afk farm bots go!
P.S. Don't forget, afk farm bots provide a valuable service. Just think of how much loot would go unclaimed if not for thier diligent efforts

...and I don't deny this. Everyone has a right to farm, even AFK farm. I believe, however, it is in the best interest of those that do so that they take a break once in a while, or, like the solo-grouping thing, it will be considered an exploit and will be nerfed.

the fact that they can camp a spawn AFK bugs alot of people. why play a game if they never go anywhere and AFK.

I am sure that it does, and I am just trying to be fair....people are going to AFK farm if they can, it happens in all MMORGs. This one is no exception. However, excessive camping is discouraged in almost all MMORGs out there, but is ignored here.

pps dont forget these farmers themn act very business like and onlyt sell off a few looted goodies at a time so as to keep the price as hi as possible.

I AKF loot the crap outta this game I can't help it, I like many long term players have been there done that as far as content and game play.
I'm a programmer by trade, a developer, and the macro system is like a lure I can't resist...
The macro system is soooooooo powerful, not to sound arrogant but it's more powerful than many of youwill ever know.
So while the content isn't there I play this game for the macro system alone...... and farming is where themacro system excels blame SOE not me.
just to add
Not all of us drip feed loot into the economy.. for instance on my server I have had grief from Loot sellerscause I sell stuff too cheap.....
I sell rare loot kit components (cloth patches, gong skins etc) for 6k on bazzar
Glass table and Ssculpture adhesives for 35k Rug adhesives and gong adhesives for 80k
and finished rugs and gongs for 100k a peice...
And I get
/tell Dude , Dude!!! your runining the sales of these things dude!!!!! we cant sell any with you around....
granted I'm parked right next to the guy in the startport shouting "Rugs only 750k gong skins 50K!!"
and im going "Rugs 100K , Gong skins 6k dozens in stock, deals for guilds!!" lol
but hey we aintall loons..some of us actually get the stuff that's hot out there into the economy ata realistic price..and thus provide a valuable service.

That's easy. None. A) Other people would be getting it...you know, the people who are dying to loot but can't ever get to the spawnpoints. B) If nobody is looting, the loot doesn't get wasted, it'll just get looted when somebody else comes along later.

i think he's refering to loot that makes it into the economy where non combat professions that could never loot it themselves have a chance to obtain it....

and after the veteran reward (anti decay kit) they all grab their low hitpoint exceptional weapon and kickass with them... since the devs nerfed exceptional loot and legendary stuff we have no chance to be soo good as they are 
but hey - its just a game
