I know that Canyon Corsairs and Mercenaries are supposed to drop these, but I am having absolutely no luck. Is anyone else having the same problem? The other night I looted several of the small power motors but no agitator motors. Tried again last night and was getting mostly junk stuff. In one buff session I got 2 datapad batteries and 2 wirings. Is there another source for the agitator motors? Thanks.

After killing hundreds of captains, I finally got one. Got a nice CA too.

There is only one source of agitator motor schematics. They drop from the Corsair Captains. I did the same thing you did. Then, right after trading for a schematic, I looted an agitator motor schematic off of the next three Corsair Captains that I killed. All within about 15 minutes.
The Captains also drop the metal recycler and CAs.

Thanks a lot for the info. I was on the verge of buying one, but I'll keep trying for a while.

just understand that they are very rare loot drops. i got 2 in 2 days and then havent gotten one in almost 2 weeks now. so just be ready for a long hunt.
And yeah corsair captains are the only thing that drops these.

The agitator motor schematic is of course used to build a agitator motor and a agitator motor is a component of the Floral Mulcher/Processor and the Organic Combiner. Also it is a component of a Tumble Blender which itself is a component of the Rock Tumbler Container and Chemical Compound Device ... All of these are the new "recyclers"

where are the captains found ... on corellia?
no....Lok either by running missions or by camping the Canyon Corsair POI. More thanlikely be easier and quicker to just get in a solo group (you dont have to be in asolo group just more npcs spawn with higher lvl difficulty)and pull missions for these guys better chance of gettting more Captains to spawn than running around the POI like a chicken with your head cut off tabbing and competing with other players trying to do the same thing

I've found that the best and fastest way to find them is to hop on a bike at the stronghold and just go south. When you run into a random CC spawn, just circle around the area and you'll find more.
Very often you'll run into spawns of just a CC Captain and a single Elite Pirate...they will respawn a few times, then move on.

well, a tricky question indeed.
the "problem" with thiese is that it ain't a "omg i must have one" item - despite it's rare for some people searching, it has little use to many people - try the auction forum and see what happends.
