The best chance to get them is to take two 13k or 12.9k missions in the same direction. Kill the Captain ONLY and move to the next mission. Do not destroy the base. You can do this 10 times for each base. Destroy the base on the 10th cycle to get your payoff. If you kill all the mobs each time you will only be able to do this 3 times. You should be able to kill 60 - 80 Captains within a buff session using this strategy.

Errr each mob in spawn wil respawn only 3 times .... maybe 4 in wild spawn

OK, the Corsair missions killing the Captain only sound good but is there a trick to get them? I'm Master TKA, Master Fencer, and Master Brawler ... not in a group and was at the mission terminal at the starport at Nym's ... I refreshed and refreshed and refreshed (you get the picture) and could not get one Corsair mission to come up? Do I need to group with a couple of people to get the missions?

Yeah, you'll need to be in a group. I group with my AT-ST but if you're not Imp you don't have that luxury.

This is the best/fasest method there is guys to get these schematics...also you can do this with Nym's missions to get the Bubble Tank schematic which drop from Nym's Droidekas.

I f you only kill the Captain you can do it 10 times, sometimes more. I do it all the time.

Just go around the Corsair POI, not only do they spawn in the camp but I found at least 6-10 spawns between 500m and 1000m outside the camp. Very easy to find these, and I looted a couple of the schematics...

Someone help me with this. I have spent so much time waiting for the ONE captain to spawn at the POI on LOK. Is there a better way to find captains and try to loot the motors? I have gotten missions before, but wondered if i was to kill off the captain, leave, and come back, would the mission reset and the captain come back. There has to be a more simple way since so many say they have the motors, only the POI is usually dead. Any help?

ok hold my hand /target %NT /holdhand...Now lets walk through this one more time because its so difficult to understand
a. Get Buffed
b. Join Solo Group
c. Take 2 Canyon Corsair missions (same direction preferably)
d. Drive to first mission
e. Scan all targets for a Captain
f. If Captain is present kill him but DO NOT kill any other corsairs at the mission ignore them
g. Leave mission - jump back on bike goto next mission
h. Scan all targets for a Captain
i. If Captain is present kill him but DO NOT kill any other corsairs at the mission ignore them
j. Leave mission - jump back on bike go back to the first mission
k.Repeat steps e - j...each mission will spawn 10 times before becoming MISSION IMCOMPLETE
If one or both of the missions DO NOT have a Captain at them when you arrive and scan the npcs delete the mission and get another. The captains are just random so you just gotta drive to the mission and check if ones present.
Also be sure you are double-clicking the corpse to loot...some people have been having looting issues using a /loot macro key
