Now dont get me wrong. I use the recursive macros myself for Force Aura and other such abilities.

But the use of recursive macros to enable you to camp a loot spot and afk loot is not the way the game is supposed to be played.

If your AFK then in my opinion you have not EARNED those loot drops.

I regularly visit the Aakuan Caves on Talus looking for the skill tape attachments and other items. Unfortunately over the past week there have been people AFK macro looting in the caves. No CSR seems to be interested in what has already been stated as a practise that is to be outlawed.

In the screenshot you can see piles of Aakuan bodies that were not even being looted by the AFK players.

The following 3 players were afk.. obviously they were auto looting but after their inventories were full the bodies were piling up and no-one else could loot.

I suspect that these 3 players are controlled by the same person (as sometimes happens to ensure they "own" the spot)..

Something either needs to be done about the CSRs response to this or to the macro's themselves. They need removing. I would gladly sit and press a button while im at the keyboard to activate my Force Aura rather than use a macro if they removed them.

Come on, youpeople assuming everyonejust has sour grapes about akf lootersare just idiots. Most of us just want to play the game atk and want to be able to have in game opportunities for loot. He is complaining about afk players imposing their BS on the game so aggressively they ruin gameplay for others. We have to share the game and when you dominate an area when you are not even playing the game activelyyou ruin game play for others.

My advice is the same as someone above. Report it to a CSR in game and use the website contact options to send e-mails also. Report CSR's who take no action and you will hopefully see results...

I too have been frustrated by this. Theytreat the other players rudely too.I would encourage anyone on the Chilastra server to send CS tickets about this. I have done this too. And I mean every time they go there and see these players there. They have been doing this for well over a week now. Every day 24 hours a day. And they brag aboutit too. Several playerssuspect that they are ebay sellers or overseas players selling the stuff for cash. There are some things we can do:

1. Find out where they are selling the loot and make sure that your guild and all your friends guilds know not to shop there or buy one single piece of anything on any vendors or from any of the players.

2. Take some friends be it imp or reb and out damage them. Do this whenever you like.

And to those who think we want the spawns for ourselves. You are wrong. We would like a chance to have the spawn for a little bit. There is a big difference. Most players agree that AFKing is wrong and should not be done especially at loot spawns. It is an unwritten rule.I have grouped with many people at the cave and set loot to lottery or random. It is the principle here folks. Most people will share the spawn. Others don't. But this is completely out of line what they are doing. And to let the bodies stack up like that is ridiculous too. That is just a slap in the face that they don't give one damn about the game. This is our game and our community we share a responsibility and those that care to do something should.

Macros are used legitametly by most, and removing them will take away one of the few things that makes SWG stand out from the other games. There are also many benefits to this as shown in this link:

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=game_guides&message.id=285232

Its always been said that kill stealing isn't agaist EULA, so all you have to do is kill steal. SOE has said they would remove the macros, but haven't for various reasons.

And if you're looking for SEAs, don't go to the a'kuan cave, just get into a group and go farm some champion a'kkuan missions out of a city and you will notice the difference in the speed at which you acquire them. They're also higher in stats as well.

But then again, it means you have to put in effort in actually driving to the mission, driving back.....I say that because I don't see why you are bent on farming that cave when running missions w/ a group will double your loot.

Pay no attention to posts like this one.. it's just a camper who wants all the loot for themselves.

Just get the Champion missions from a player city. The CA's are much better anyway.

Correct.

Go to a player city. Pick "Large Aa'kuan Champion Base Camps" (only). Do the missions. Better loot + money.
