I just started playing a day or two ago (obviously, or I wouldn't have a barc I am curious about) and I was wondering what the general consensus was/is on the BARC. Whether I should just keep it for myself and keep using it, or should I sell it? I don't know anything about any of the other speeders I could get, so I don't know if this is a good one or not. And it's hard to tell whether people are so anxious to purchase them because they're good or because they're "collectable." At any rate, thanks for your time to anyone who responds.

Its the ONLY speeder that can be repaired with a specially made repair kit. And its cool looking. I'd keep it, but really it comes down to what its worth to you as opposed to what someone is willing to pay for it.

Not to be terribly ignorant, but is the fact that it is the only speeder than can be repaired with a special repair kit a good thing? Either way, I think I am going to follow the advice of both of you who replied and stick with it, as I seem to be doing fine right now without vast stores of money. And if it is repairable and I need money later, I can always sell it then.
Thanks again!

you will probly want to keep it. it fast , it climbs well it does not atm take a repair kit to fix once distroyed. for the most part there are cheeper ways to get in game cashthen to sell your BARC

Personally if I was a noob I would sell it for 5 mil or so. It will take you a long time to get this amount of creds if you keep it. It took me a year ingame to finally get 1 mil creds (i do love buyinf stuff). Not sure what noobs get but I think I started with 250 creds and a melon. It took me a few days to get enough creds to leave the planet I started on. IMO, the creds are the best way to go as you can buy swoops for 10-20k a piece and they are nearly as fast as a BARC. I like my barc and use it all the time but I am not a noob either. I say sell it and get the creds.

I love my BARC speeder. I ride it everywhere. I'd never get rid of it.

Credits are easy to come by...
I have 700K already and have only been playing the game for 3 weeks... or so
Easiest place to get money is to collect loot in space.... I currently have about 80K in loot (gathered in about 3hours) to go along with my cash...

Yeah, I made a killing in space, but it was hell for me to figure out how exactly all the dogfighting worked. By time I did and took out my first few ships, my shields were dead and my hull was almost totalled, too. I still haven't made enough cash to repair it. Then again, I don't get to play a lot.

the barc speeder is more fun and usefullthan the 2-5 mill you'll get for selling it, plus the barc speeder will last longer than whatever you buy with the credits!
besides, the barc speeder is the best speeder in the game as far as i've seen, virtually no terrain negotiation.
