it still amazes me to this day how little ppl truly think about the world and the way it works as opposed to their own problems. I agree with the last long post by who i forget. Shuttles are merely a timing issue, which would you rather have, a dozen shuttles on the planet that have been there a long time and when one may be destoryed it shocks you cause it's been there so long, or 1000s of shuttles all over the planet where it makes more sense to takea shuttle rather than take a bike ride????

AFK macros, well lets see in order to ban someone I would like to think that SOE themselves would have to have some sort of actual proof that some person of some sort was not at the computer for most of the time it occured. Who's to say that person just is lazy and sets up a macro and watches. I know i have done that on some occasions when i dont feel like typing a lot of clicking all the commands when it's the same commands repeated 100 times. I do that sort of thing in the tusken cave or geo cave, set up a combat/loot macro while i run around or sit there for 10 minutes while i get a bite to eat. Or maybe just maybe has anyone thought about being the ass and just going afk right where someone is already, if you piss enough of them off they just might stop it. Ever notice how they seem to declare ownership of a spot in the game? Try killing their kills, do what they do to you, there's nothing wrong with rules of game to simply kill something someone else is attacking. Do it, take their kills, you do it enough they'll stop. Yeah i know it's rude but who cares.

Crafting needs fixing, we all know it, maybe they'll get to it, until now i think we all just need to give support, give our suggestions and hope they make a good decision. Besides like i tell so many before me if ya dont like it then quit. People were even complaining about too many jedi in game. I preceeded to ask them "are you a jedi?" they said yes they were. So i told them to quit themselves because that would drop the number of jedi, and can you believe it they said no. Shocker huh? We cant expect others to do what we aren't willing to do our selves.

OK ok ok, i'm a veteran player, been playing since almost launch. However I say playing as I played on a friends account with him till the end of december. He let me play it cause i enjoyed it and hell having two ppl work on a template is nice. He quit and bougth my own and played. Now here's my problem with ppl who say I'm poor, they whine, moan, complain, andI say shut up. About a month ago i went from having 2 mil to 500k total in all my money. Diddn't have much of anything worth while to sell so I had to come up with a plan. So I did what any good business man did. I bought low and sold high. It didn't matter whether I sold resources at 1 more cpu than i bought them or loot kit items a little higher than i bought or if i sold things 3 times their worth. I did it and guess what my template was merchant/swordsman, NO CRAFTING!!!! I didn't craft a dang thing to get to where i am now. I got over 4.5 mil and it grows daily.

For everystory in this game someon has about being poor, someone else struck it rich, all my friends have cash, none of them complain about cant buy this or cant buy that, and not a single one of them is an unfair player like afk camping. We buy low, sell high, craft and sell out goods if we are an artisan. We play by the rules of game and make money. I look at it this way, you're as rich as you are creative. If you cant seem to make more than a few credits, you're the least creative person, or laziest i know. So do something about it and instead of taking up room on the forums, go out and do missions, sell loot, pick up a prof. Anyone will tell you once you hit MASTER at anything you'll have what it takes to make money in some shape or form.

grrr these posts make me so mad. afk camping sux, agree 100%.but because some rifleman is out there blowing away someone to get good loot before you get there stop whining. its not like they made the character, and started making 100 mil a day. no, they had to grind rifleman, get the money for the good armor, and the good weapons, and the buff and all the food, and the swoop etc.

geese i remember running missions for 1k a piece to try to make money so i could master doctor and afford the med supplies for it, and it got really tough, but i made it. and then i started buffing so i could make money to start selling my own buffs. it took 6 months and i make maybe a mil a week, sometimes more, and could go out there and buy an uber rifle for 10 mil.. is that wrong? i earned my keep with the help of my friends and on my own, and i could go out there and slaughter nyax with my big hammer of doom that i worked hard to get. so before you start saying i don't deserve it shut up. if u dont like the profession then drop it and go w/ something else. i mastered swordsmanin a week, and i only playmaybe 1-4 hrs a day, so don't say it can't be done. if this was EQ2 or WOW you'd have to start over from the very beginning, cause once u choose what u want there's no going back. and don't tell me that things are more balanced over there, becausei dont play EQ2 or WOW and don't really care or know if it is or not.

I've been playing this game fora year now, and I've played just about every single day for an average of around 8-12 hours. I'm no noob. I've never placed a harvestor or a vendor. I got this game with the intention of becoming a master bounty hunter, which I did, and I've remained MBH for the entire time. I've gotten lucky a couple of times on loot--once I was hunting rancor meat when the stuff was really good and selling for a mint and I happened to grab a couple of "exceptional" rancor teeth which sold for a total of 7million. More recently, I looted an armor attachment that fetched me 8 million. Aside of that, it's been hours upon hours of hunting jantas and keeping my eye on the trade forums for people that are paying well for meat. I didn't get this game to kill cavemen for days on end or to hunt giant spiders like I'm doing now, but I know I need the credits to finance my true loves--PVP and jedi hunting. I'm always searching for the best armor, food and equipment at the best prices, trying to keep up with the Joneses in an effort to remain viable at my profession. Whatever happened to "Ten thousand! We could almost buy our own ship for that!"? I need to keep millions in the bank just to be able to buy guns and attachments that I see on the forums! PVP doesn't pay very well, and I'm fine with that. But I spend hours per day and days per week, just to find that I'm always a step behind because I refuse to write a macro.

I started a year ago with a CDEF blaster, ran delivery missions and killed gnorts until my eyes bled just to be able to buy some chitin armor and a tusken rifle. Then I did it again so I could buy a couple attachments. Then I did more so I could buy some composite armor and an LLC with 700 or so max damage. Finally I was on to the bounty hunter grind and I thought it was great because at last I was going out on missions with 10k+ payouts! I remember when I joined BHA I was bragging about how I had a whopping 6 million in the bank! Then it came time to spend most of that money on better guns again, while trying to maintain a full set of armor with which to PVP. Then I started seeing higher AA's and CA's, and I began to struggle even harder to maintain a healthy bank account while acquiring even better guns and armor. It went on like that for a good while--I'd get 5 million together, spend 4 million on guns, armor, attachments and equipment, I'd get 6 million, spend 5 million, I got to 15 million and then JTL came out and I found myself actually owing 3 million for a couple of weeks!

Now I finally get my bank back up to 11 million, but now people are charging 15 million for the best attachments and I can't buy 'em. My options are to either go and slaughter jantas mindlessly to save up and give it all over to some schmuck with an AFK macro who refuses to leave the Nyax Fort for an hour so I can take a whack at him, or go to Talus and kill Aakuans for weeks, hoping to find some lesser attachments that I can make do with. Being Imperial, I've got no shot at the wanted posters or the money for which I can sell them, and nightsisters take me down pretty easily, saying as how I'm all ranged. Even IF I manage to beat a nightsister down, and even IF I manage to loot something decent from her besides another vibro-lance with a dumb DOT with 8% potency, the armor I'm wearing will likely have to be replaced (again) Meanwhile, I can't even manage to take down a Jedi lately. Last week my PVP was closing in on 1500. Now I'm down to under 1200 because the jedi are all sporting "uber" CA's that nullify the effects and states that I spent all that money on guns for. I'm not seeing any "Defense vs. Intimidate +15" CA's on the trade forums because you can bet all the jedi are keeping them for themselves. Same goes for Defense vs. fire, bleed, dizzy, and whatever else I used to rely on in a fight vs. a jedi. This is game-breaking for me! I'm not going to spend the few millions of credits that I have on one of these attachments just so he can turn around and buy an even better pearl to put in his lightsaber and beat me down that much faster.

The funny thing is that they have the audacity to complain about guys like me using our anti-decay kits on LS-resistant PSGs. Damn, can't I even have a crumb?!

Well after Combat Revamp its not gonna matter how many Ca's or AA's you can attach to yourself. Everything will be balanced out. As it says on the Main site. No longer will someone that is wearing armor be the automatic victor against someone who isnt wearing armor.

For example TKA will not be able to wear armor anymore if they want to be able to use their Special Moves. They will be given Profession SPecific Armor with Stat mods on it. Which will allow them to hit faster and more often without restriction.

Armor will be separated into modes and each one will have its over percentage of resistance against certain types of damage. (Not all)

Mode 0 Armor will have no resistance of any type, its just a decoration

Mode 1 armor will have resist to energy based attacks

Mode 2 armor will have resist to Blast and Kenetic type attacks

Mode 3 armor will have resist to a little bit of everything

So if you have a good set of Mode 1 armor on and you got all your CAs and AAs attached to it thinking no one is gonna kill you. What if someone comes at you with Mode 3 style attacks. What are you gonna do then?

The new armor system should be better than the mandatory composite / hunting / sentinal suits we're stuck with now. At least with these new suits, you'll have to plan out a strategy when fighting. As for the weapons, I'm positively jumping out of my seat with excitement, right until the point where I'm horribly dissapointed by what my eyes behold. I hope that last part doesn't come true.

Finally, when it comes to money, FreakHighWalker has the right idea. Grind and grind to scrape up just enough cash to reinforce just how poor you really are. 1 million credits is a fortune? Bah! I'll be broke again the second I need to buy something. Yet, I endure. I can't loot the uber crap and I don't have veteran rewards to sell for millions, soI'll just be content earning what I can hoping that one day all the camping, empty lairs, and ridiculous prices fade into the abysmal darkness that is history. But until that day comes, here's to hoping my luck with looting improves from the "complusive gambler" level to "casino owner" level.
