You can't drop the holocrons you get from the jedi temple missions, either.

Uh I have my christmas, looted and jedi holocron sitting side by side....unless they changed somethin

I know for a fact this isn't true...both of my Christmas holos are sitting on the floor of my house (I moved recently, they haven't found a new place to sit in my house yet).

and I traded for over half a dozen christmas holos from various people. They are very droppable and tradeable.

C/mon people confirm your info before making false statements. The Christmas Holo is tradeable and you can drop it. I have two in my house right now as decorations.

i did a lot of cross server trading right after christmas and know of a lot of ppl that did the same thing...

Does anyone know how to get this?
The info on allakhazam is all wrong.
I just didthe quest near the jedi temple on Dan 2 times and it was not part of any delivery or drop.

it is/was part of the dark jedi's quest near the dantooine ruins. for the last mission he sends you to kill a padawan. after you kill him a padawan braid should appear in your inventory, which is a delivery item you take back to Uthic, just put it in your backpack instead, do the quest over for as many braids as you want. BTW what was the level of the padawan he sends you to kill? that wouldbe good to know in the post-cu loot world of ours.

The padawan was 80 and it looks like you have to be Imp, The padawan was Rebel both times,but I did not kill him. The 1st time I was in a group and someone else killed him, I was able to loot the padawan but I did not get the Padawan Braid
