Thread: Am I the only 1 who is VERY disapointed with the 18, 21, and 24 month vet rewards?
to be honest, the problem was, how can you improve upon an ADK? you really cant... the only thing that I heard that was close was token-respecs, but still that would tip the balance of play, becuase (if it was a 2 year reward, and most 2 years, are Jedi by now) it would tip the balance of play, that someone could respec proffs so easy.
yeah, the rewards are not that great if you are not into decorating and having nice loot, but there really was nothing they could have given us for combat... some people were saying indesructable AT-PTs, seriously, would that be fair? There were only a few choices the devs had, however I am dissapointed there is nothing like a Bunker house for a 2 year, that would be fair and easy to do. but you have to remember, vet rewards are a thing the devs wanted to use to say thanks to the people who stayed, they really didnt have to give you anything, SOE makes plenty of money without the really old vets. I am terribly sorry if that makes me seem like a jerk or dissrespectfull, but they just wanted to say thx, not 'well u have been playing since day 1, so u deserve to have something that would make you 5x better than others in the game.'
i am dissapointed there were no bunker houses for you guys, but seriously, there was not much else to give

When I saw a list of all these holos on my galaxy's forum, I seriously thought to myself, "no way.. these are just more anniversary gift holos." I don't even recall a message from a dev dismissing that rather long and indepth post about the bunker house, the non-maintenance vehicle.. etc.
The analogy a couple posts back regarding offering a lexus and then handing out a scooter definitely applies to this case.. and in the end, that is what disappoints me the most.

Feh. So much for that list of items presented to us earlier, eh, devs? Why in the hell did you even ask our opinions then, if the only reward was going to be a friggin' hologram? Yes, the holograms are nice, but they're a trinket, nothing more.
What's our three-year vet reward going to be - a hologram of a hot cocoa sampler box?

No... your NOT getting it. This statement right here shows your not. Its not that were waiting for rewards.... or demand that we be compinsated for sticking with the game for 2 years. Its the fact that everything to do with vet rewards has been changed, and all the ideas of the past were thrown out in exchange for a dumbed down system. Vet rewards weren't my idea... they were SOE's. But sicne they do give them to us... they should at least do it right. You don't give an Imperial object as the only 2 year rewards... are they really that frigging stupid?
Anyway, no ones ranting. We are voiceing our feedback. You did little more then make a hated rant at other players who are expressing themselfs with your first post. You made a direct attack at every player who is dissapointed with these rewards... and your calling us ranters? We are meerly letting the devs know we were dissapointed. Thats all. If no one ever voiced their opinion then things would never get fixed in this game. We are doing it in a civil mannor... and then you come in screaming and curseing... we are going to keep voiceing our opinion wether you like it or not... so live with it.

For Fun: (Miniature Replicas) AT-AT & AT-ST, Star Destroyer & Corellian Corvette

Ther you go...this is what Thunderheart gave us as ideas...the deal is this...we are given something decent, then we are given a forum to post ideas on...next we get THUNDERHEART giving us some really cool ideas

The lambda shuttle holo is not a 24 month reward
The 24-month reward is a hologram of the Death Star. The Lambda shuttle and Corvette holograms are rewards to celebrate the 2-year anniversary of SWG.
