Heck, they could have saved time just by taking the houses with basements that already exist, and packaging them as deeds.
I understand opinion from people about veteran reward, a lot of time playing for getting a single doll, but what if vet rewards were amazing weapons?? again as pre-cu uber pikes, a little dangerous for a balanced game. I like vet rewards as dolls and holograms, so that they can show your status without have a unbalanced game.

but i suggest something like a nice spaceship like the 180 day JTL vet reward, or even a whole bunch of furniture for the whole house, not a hologram which any noob cn buy for 100k

i'm not saying you should want a reward.
i'm saying you should be GREATFUL for the reward you get, since many players in other games don't get ANY reward.

Ah, so, like I said in my example, your saying that since other countries(games) dont have a social security(reward) systemat ALL, since we're lucky enough to have one in America(SWG), we shouldnt want it improved?
Lets just think about this for a moment or two. Everything in SWG is vitual. Every item.
The concept of "earning" a something stems from people investing Time in the game.
You trade your time Ingame to "earn" a vitual item.
So if you are a hardcore played you "earn" items day in and day out.
Casual players do not "earn" as many items because they do not have the time too.
But in the end, the only thing this IS REAL is TIME and MONEY.
The money that you pay to play -
The Time that you spend playing -
TIME IS MONEY. MONEY IS TIME.
So the fact that you did not play the game to "earn" your reward is rooted in a train of thought
had every single item in the game given to you in our inventory, by the "You have to Earn it"
school of thought, you would not have "earned" anything, but the fact is you would have it!!
It boils down to this. People want there ingame time to count for something. To have "real" meaning

You are right. If the vet rewards were for "playing" it would keep track of how many hours yourlogged on, and you would have to reach a certain hour mark to get the rewards. But all you have to do is keep your account active to get them, which only requires "paying", not one bit of "playing".

Well, I'm a Veteran Player, been around since day 1(sp edition.. oh btw, Wookiees in goggles=bad idea)
I dont feel i "deserve" or "earned" the right to vet rewards
I also dont feel I should "test" or "support the devs" to figure out gameplay issues.
Look, the reason I still pay my monthly fee, isI love the star wars universe. I have taken long breaks from swg gameplay to try other games, most of which have been implemented much smoother with less bugs.(Sorry, but the creature warping bug is still there!! how long has it been!!!)
Buggy gameplay and combat upgrade aside, its still pretty fun to play.
That being said... I never asked for vet rewards, but as long as they decided to add them (dont think for a minute that its not an attempt to keep player base) then make them something useful to a 2 or 3 year player.
1) give a choice of a crafter/combat/entertainer reward (+10 or +15) to something
2) new vehicle (swoop speed, multi passenger)
3) new ship (tier 3/4) may or may not be multi passenger (link-gun function)
4) an extra wearable container (instead of just backpack) maybe a belt or cargo pants that adds an extra 50 items
5) a new quest (crafter or combat specific) that ends with some unique clothes(and dont forget not all races wear one type of clothing!!), badges and one high end weapon/armor (or crafting tool/resources/factory).
The was a post somewhere where you could all post your ideas for vet rewards. if you didnt post, then shame on you, you should'nt be complaining.
But for you who say, "be grateful you're getting anything",I say bantha poodu! We have every right to voice our opinion.We have stuck with the game through bugs and all.
No, I dont expect rewards, but i also wouldnt mind "actual" rewards, as long as they see fit to offer..
