TBH, I dont see why anyone would want to complete any quests anyway...most of the loot I have seen is junk.

Sorta like BH now have the market cornered on tapes, and Jedi had the market cornered on the +25 tapes off the DJK and DJM...get a larger stronger group and go steal the spawn from the campers.

I would have respected your answer more if you were to give a solution to the problem of people not being able to finish a quest rather than saying "just don't do it". Maybe the devs should remove those mobs as part of the quest, that is a solution. Telling people loot sucks so why bother is not helping. That's like when I tell people going for Jedi sucks, don't even bother going to the village. Well maybe they want to do it because there is nothing left to do. Taking away brand new quests just because we have some greedy **edit** is wrong. btw, I think this problem is a combination of a lot of people doing the quest and camping the spawn. ONce most people finish the quest I'm hoping I don't see 20-30 people just sitting there like zombies.

Got it now. Iijin, you are just here to argue and offer no real discussion on a solution.

So let me get this straight....endorsing actions that prevent other players from completing a quest is a good thing?!

Other posters' childish responses aside, there are a large number of paying customers that see a problem and want a solution.

It´s pretty damn stupid to make a quest NPC into a campable one. Would be better to make the loot-spawningNPC into a cavedweller, so to speak, and the other one not dropping loot but will need to be killed in order to be able to get the quest-loot from another NPC. The one that gives the mission, for example.

IIjin,

So, your only solution is steal? LOL

Actually I believe I have stated over and over and over and over that there is no "solution" infact there is no problem...there is you needing to learn to get over it. LOL

This isn't the streets of some real city somewhere where you can live outa villainous lifestyle. This is a game. that means by it's nature it is cooperative AND competitive at the same time. The rules need to reflect that.

This is a game where you are presented with the option of living out either a villainous or heroic lifestyle (the whole Light / Dark thing ya know, empire / rebellion etc..)..."cooperative AND competitive at the same time" that is the kind of carebears optimisticidealthat has you blinded and crying for compensation when you dont really deserve any. The basicphysics of the game are made to reflect real life situations themed to the Star Wars universe. I think everyone here can agree that life isnt always fair...try crying about that..

If you think that is carebear, that is your problem. And by the way, get in game and you won't have to deal with this since you don't care anyway. Right?

Actually there again is no problem, I enjoy bashing your unrealistic ideology, and how cotton candy and popcorn you would have this game be "Make it fair!"" its not fair" wwhhaaaaaaaaa.....I do care about you trying to ruin my game, I dont care about some people camping loot.

that is all...

All the retarded... pointless... bickering of some of the wonderful, level-headed mature people in this thread is making me remember why pre-pubecsent closeted necrofeliacs make MMORPG Developers stop listening to their clientle.

Loot Camping can be prevented... it just takes a little common sense and true randomness to accomplish it. Unfortunately, if it can't be canned, completed easily and have a guide written about it... enough people think SUXX0R$ to make the devs/suits cave.

Account cancelled again. Fix this flippin game. GCW, Smugglers, Player economy, enjoyable content and all bugs over 3 months old must be repaired before this game is worth the subscription. Get it, got it, done.

QFE : RocketDSM on the subject of the creation of a Non-Jedi Server
As for the argument of "The Jedi are bored, give them content and they'll go away." I actually do agree with you. However, there are two major problems to this argument. First, it would take a lot more coding time than just disabling the Old Man on one server. Second, all that time that would be devoted to a SINGLE PROFESSION is not being devoted to fixing bugs, adding general content, or making new expansions for the rest of the game population. So this is a classic problem of the needs of a few over the needs of the many. I can name seven professions that serve little to no purpose right now. You want more work done on one that's already absorbed an estimated 75% of the coding time for the past year. In my opinion, it's time to get the Jedi off the nipple and give the general population their turn.
