yes they have. it use to be a 1 hour spawn. now its 15 mins and you can bugged the spawns to make it spawn more. 10 guys sitting at the cave afk macro laming

actually, i meant aakuan missions. i ran those pre cu, never messed w the cave

Yep. Keepers, followers, stewards are all a waste of time - Champions drop AA's, Sentinels and Defenders drop CA's. The rest might drop a ring or shirt etc., credits, or some datapad pieces, but other than that, they are useless. Get a lair with a no sents, defenders or Champs, kill it off, collect the cash, and look for another one to milk for SEA's.
And this confirmation comes from having looted 30+ SEAs (6 to 1 AA to CA ratio, FYI) in the past 3 weeks, slaughtering 1000+ aa'kuans, so it is pretty solid info.
And the rate has not dropped off at all for me - 2 AAs and a CA in a little over an hour this morning, then nothing for the next two. It's still random, but the rate seems about the same as it always has been.

Simple case of 'Me want loot NOW!!!!!' and not having the patience to actually earn it.... Oh, and not searching the loot forums for the 6 page plus thread on the subject of Aa'kuan SEA drops - which is about 5 total pages of people trying to remind folks that the drop rates are random and another page of people whining about the slow drop rate before they read the posts......
Amazing how few people actually know how to use the Search function on the forums, let alone the 'read' function in their brain. There should be a sticky at the top of this forum section that says 'TRY USING THE SEARCH FUNCTION FIRST BEFORE ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS OR MAKING A MORONIC POST BECAUSE THE ODDS ARE REALLLLLLLLLLY HIGH THAT SOMEONE HAS ALREADY ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION 30 TIMES'.... But I guess that would just be ignored too...
i was doin aakuan missions yesterday 5 hours of nothing then boom 4 att's in a row.. they still drop them..
just remember like that other guy said drop rate was ~never~ great... sadly heh
no true my friend champion dropped a +2 lightsaber experimentation tape for me last night.

If you really wanna know something I believe that all npc's that are lvl 70+ have the same chance to drop attachments. You guys go out and farm your aakuan missions for a few hours and loot one or two attachments. In the same time period I'm out killing Nightsisters and DJK and looting attachments just as often as you. Or for example the other day I went out to kill Sith Shadows to loot those frequency datapads, I looted 2 SEA's from those guys also.
So if you think Aakuans are the best for looting SEA's I believe you are mistaken. I haven't seen any difference in Aakuans, Nightsisters, Marauders, etc. All these NPC's have about the exact same drop rate for these attachments. You can just kill whichever you prefer. I myself like to kill Nightsisters because they drop the occasional crystal as well. The Sith Shadows that are spawning now on Dathomir in big groups (pirates, outlaws, thugs, lvl 75-77) are very plentiful, respawn fast, come in large groups, and drop SEA's just as good and just as often as your precious Aakuans.
So stop crying and saying something got nerfed because you had bad luck and didn't loot anything. Things have changed in this game, especially the loot. It comes in streaks and you can kill 100 Marauders, 100 Aakuans, 100 Nightsisters, 100 Sith Shadows, and you might not loot ANY attachments. Or you could go out and take 1 Marauder mission and get lucky and loot 2 attachments from the same mission... it's just random. I have tried these Aakuan missions and I found it VERY boring and I didn't loot ANY attachments at all after killing maybe close to 100 Aakuans. So I decided to just go back and kill more Nightsisters and Dark Jedi Knights, I get plenty of attachments like this and it's way more fun than driving back and forth on a desolate planet like Talus killing boring NPC's like Aakuans. I just looted a Double-Bladed LS Accuracy +12 CA actually.
I dunno why I made such a big reply, just letting you all know it really doesn't matter what you're killing you have about the same chances of looting an SEA from any kind of high level NPC, you dont have to kill Aakuans. Just because they drop SEA's in a cave doesn't mean they are the SEA gods.
