Yea the auukans seem nerfed. I killed 800 of the CL 80 NPCs (from missoins), got 2 armor attachments.
I personally HATE the new loot system, and really hope they are going to fix it.
Not everything is nerfed however, I did get a nice CA from a dark jedi master I killed.
artisan experimentation +13
unarmed dmg +23.
Course a guildie told me unarmed dmg not working right now....
that's my luck..

I would hunt marauder missions... but they have the little white tags, take longer to kill
same with NS...
AAkuans are fast!
I would love to hunt DJK/DJM but that is unavailable to me:

pardon my ignorance, but... where do you usually spot djm's knights etc. i know dant in the wild, is it a static spawn as in anywhere anytime, do they usually tend to be in ??? area i know i hear they spawn behind the imp prison, i combed the whole area 5 times over and nothin, aside from wanting to loot w hore love a good challenge, any info would be appreciated

lol taking the mission from the imperial prison IS NOT an exploit. if it was i think somebody wouldve been banned by now or the devs would remove the mission or something similar. they reduced the clvl of the knights and masters but did nothing to the mission, that should tell you something. now you please tell me why it's an exploit? oh yeah you can't.
as for them in the wild on dantooine i also heard that they spawn SW of the imperial outpost but I also combed the whole area and didn't find any near the outpost. maybe someone else has some tips. i just stick to the knight mission at the prison, it's much easier than trying to go out and find one lol.
and you dont have to be some super elite jedi to kill them either. i solo the DJK all the time and i'm a MBH/MCarb/Pistoleer 0403. all you have to do is snare them and stay as far away as possible while you kite them. then root them when the snare runs out. if you dont haveroot its no big deal, you can still knock them down to gain distance before you land another snare. it's really not that hard at all once you get the hang of it. i used to die every time trying to solo them with the same template, but after practicing i got the hang of it and now i haven't died to one since, and i've probably killed 100 or more since the last time i died

Drop rates are very random. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. I looted 3 AA's in 4 missions last night.

as a general rule if it jacks up the entire planets spawn then probably not meant to do it. As for why dont they drop mission personaly i dont think they can do much in way of editing current code is why they are replacing instead of fixing perhaps...but really when u cuase 50 rancors and ns to clump up all over think about it..as for loot
killed about 50 sith 2 desent aas
killed 10 or so spellweavers got a sweet ca
6 or so protectors/elders notta one crystal off elder

Champions actually have a higher drop rate than the others.... and they drop only AA's.... I dont see why you are saying to kill only the keepers and followers when the Defenders and Sentinels drop CA's. If the Keepers and Followers do as well, then why not just kill everything? I don't see why you are all complaining or saying do this, do that, just kill them all they all have about the same drop rate except for the champions which everyone says seem to drop AA's more often.
If you really wanna know something I believe that all npc's that are lvl 70+ have the same chance to drop attachments. You guys go out and farm your aakuan missions for a few hours and loot one or two attachments. In the same time period I'm out killing Nightsisters and DJK and looting attachments just as often as you. Or for example the other day I went out to kill Sith Shadows to loot those frequency datapads, I looted 2 SEA's from those guys also.
So if you think Aakuans are the best for looting SEA's I believe you are mistaken. I haven't seen any difference in Aakuans, Nightsisters, Marauders, etc. All these NPC's have about the exact same drop rate for these attachments. You can just kill whichever you prefer. I myself like to kill Nightsisters because they drop the occasional crystal as well. The Sith Shadows that are spawning now on Dathomir in big groups (pirates, outlaws, thugs, lvl 75-77) are very plentiful, respawn fast, come in large groups, and drop SEA's just as good and just as often as your precious Aakuans.
So stop crying and saying something got nerfed because you had bad luck and didn't loot anything. Things have changed in this game, especially the loot. It comes in streaks and you can kill 100 Marauders, 100 Aakuans, 100 Nightsisters, 100 Sith Shadows, and you might not loot ANY attachments. Or you could go out and take 1 Marauder mission and get lucky and loot 2 attachments from the same mission... it's just random. I have tried these Aakuan missions and I found it VERY boring and I didn't loot ANY attachments at all after killing maybe close to 100 Aakuans. So I decided to just go back and kill more Nightsisters and Dark Jedi Knights, I get plenty of attachments like this and it's way more fun than driving back and forth on a desolate planet like Talus killing boring NPC's like Aakuans. I just looted a Double-Bladed LS Accuracy +12 CA actually.
I dunno why I made such a big reply, just letting you all know it really doesn't matter what you're killing you have about the same chances of looting an SEA from any kind of high level NPC, you dont have to kill Aakuans. Just because they drop SEA's in a cave doesn't mean they are the SEA gods.
so true.. all npcs of all levels have a random chance of droppin' SEAs.. one thin' to keep in mind though. the higher npc lvl the better SEAs(higher numbers)but a chance of droppin' one is 'bout the same for all!
