Though "Combat Locking" I don't see the real advantage of - then it just becomes a race to hit the mob first so a speed capped rifleman wins every time.

combat locking stopskill stealing.... as in you have attacked a random spawn (K Dragon on Tat for instance)
obviously at static spawn points it actually helps the campers so make most of the existing dungeons
instanced tostop most campers....
you can't erradicate this problem all togeather, the game is open so players have to bysome degree govern themselves..
there will always be scope for a player to be a jackass and greif other players, to avoid this 100% the game would have to be sown up so tight none of us would have fun...

not yet but the way the game is changing a one hit kill on an elder by a noob armed with a cdef is gonna be the rule soon.....

I'm hearing quite the opposite. A TKM will have trouble killing a Nuna after the revamp.

We where clearly their before him and since it was our first trip we where taking it slow. He in turned outdamaged us because we had to kill all the stuff on us first before we went to ackaly. Even after he killed ackaly all the aggo's on him he just left them on him.

One player can ruin the fun of a whole group.
Now I know this is not afk looting but its the same principle.
By keeping people from having access to content you are griefing them.
Not trying to show sympathy for spawn campers or whatever, but griefing is when you want to make other people feel bad. Someone camping or whatever doesn't really care if you feel bad or good, their actions are not targetted towards you in any way, so therefore it is not "griefing".
