the ranged weapons look cool...
the swords look crappy..the rsf one being the best... pikes look quite nice too..knucklers as well

these weapons have been in the .Tre files for along while now....no word if they are NPC only or what. don't get your hopes up.

lol the proton carbine is the biggest G36E copycat weapon i've ever seen. And the proton rifle is like a small downgraded OICW or XM8. Given this isn't a complaint, the G36 and OICW are GREAT looking weapons. If these are released I bet all those weapons will cost a ton of creds for like a month, because every WS is gonna want to take advantage of ppl wanting the new weapons.
But wheres the commando/BH weapons? I mean commando is only good in PvE and a BH doesn't usually bust out an LLC in PvP.

I was gonna say that about the designs. Most of those weapons lok crappy tbh, either everyone in this thread is just starved for new content, or has bad taste in game art
the shock lance is the only good looking weapon, the rest look like they were modeled in milkshape and skinned with microsoft paint, lets hope they are just placeholder models for code.

From looking at some other information the guns relate to different professions... from what I've heard the needler is a smuggler weapon for one. Looking very cool, apart from Riflemen losing strafe. *sobs bitterly*

to be honest I would love new designs. And yes you can see the real-world aspects of some including the Steyr AUG bits on the gauss rifle. That being said I find most of the ranged weapons to be rather ugly or as was posted crappy. The flechette pistol looks ugh. Not even a cool bullpup design.
Glad to see peeps know their RL weapons though

Is it just me or does the Shock lance look like it may use a broken gungan spear/lance as a component.
I hope we get all this good stuff, it'd be fun to run around with a Massassi weapon. Also that Kaminoan lance looks nice.
We'd see the RSF with good looking weapons.

I beleive I have seen the Kashhyaak Pike before in an offical game picture off the picture of the day. It was a while ago, but If you look back you should find a pic of a guy wearing full red/black mando, weilding the pike, in what looks to be a small generic or corillian house.
