and as other have stated, Rebels are the underdogs, they SHOULDN'T have the best gear in the galaxy.
Yeah... but the Emperor has never taken too kindly to non-humans... so it all works out in the end.
Who knows... maybe someone up there in SOE really _does_ have a clue about what's going on in the SWG universe. :')

personally, i'd love to wear a scout trooper helmet with my armor, but i'd rather be a Rodian without the helm than a human with it.
besides, a Black Mabari helmet looks good with scout armor.

Nope, you're not the only one.
Not at all...
There have been countless posts and suggestions similar to yours and I am NOT complaining about you posting another one... not in the slightest.
This issue will come up continually until one day when some more movie props for the Rebellion are put into the game.
A while back, TH told me that they were working on a plan to make the ANH Helmet a lootable item to be worn by players.
It was "In the works" but that was back before the CU and I haven't heard word of it since.
In that same post, he said that he would look into "Why" the ROTJ Helmet was taken completely out.
Unfortunately for us, he never did get back to us (The whole CU craziness was around the corner and that blew it out of the pciture, I imagine).
I've tried bringing up a few times since, but no word yet.
Keep posting... others will post this too... one day, some of these things may be added into the game.
I'd like to see these Rebel movie props:
X-Wing Helmets (With only half visors (Not these SWG full-faced visor helmets)
Y-Wing Helmets
B-Wing Helmets
A-Wing Helmets
Flight Suits with the proper chest boxes on them, or have the helmets hold the chest boxes on like the TIE Helmets do.
The Return of the ROTJ Helmet (Best Movie-Authentic Item in the game... at least for Rebels)
ANH Rebel Trooper Helmets
*As for the people saying that those are not "rebel" helmets and that they are Alderaan Helmets... I don't care what was written... those helmets are worn by the Rebelion Guards stationed on Yavin during the ceremony and those helmets were worn by Rebels fighting against the Empire... therefore - they are Rebellion.
Sure, I recognize the fact that the Rebels didn't stick to uniforms that they wore around in public, but this is all for fun and one aspect of Star Wars Fun has alwasy been to collect Authentic Props and costumes... SWG is no different.*
Rank Badges for all factions would be great... I suspect that they'll try and add that in a Faction Expansion one of these days.
Personally, there are a few Imperial Items I think are sorely missing as well (Though the Rebels certainly need to catch up).
The Imperial Trooper Helmets (Black and similar in design to the ANH Rebel Helmets) should be the standard Imperial Helmet... as all Soldiers aligned to the Empire are not simply Storm Troopers.
I think the AT-ST Helmet along with the chest armor that goes with it (General Veers is seen wearing this outfit over his Imperial Officer Uniform) should be another non-ST Armor in this game.
I'd also love to see the Death Star Gunner Helmets, though those clearly did have a limited purpose... based on what IS in game, however, I think they'd make a nice addition.
Honestly, it's not so much the point that the "Rebels get the shaft" as far as items go... it's just the point that the Rebels don't have much of any of the itmes that the rebels did wear in the movies...
Or more importantly, there are still SO many Movie-Authentic Items that should be put into this game for players to wear (Rebel, Imperial and Neutral).
I don't care if they add in an equal amount of Imperial Stuff when they introduce more Rebel Stuff (I'm not keeping score) I'd just like to see the stuff in the game already.

I've seen a Wookiee in full Rebel Clone Armour (including the helmet) but his Head was hovering over his body because the helmet made his Neck vanish.

Ok...why is this continuity talk even going on? If this game had continuity with the movies there wouldn't bea billion jedi running around now would there? No, so give us our rebel loot then. Also this game is not based off canon (the movies) all games/books/comics/etc and everything else Star Wars related aside from the movies is grouped together in EU or expanded universe meaning it doesn't have to fit in with continuity. There I just smashed both sides of the argument.

Mater_Gunfighter so what you are saying is the devs should bring back something JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT IT. Where does it end? Why should they bring something back just because you want it? What about the other people who want some of the early paintings? Don't they deserve to whine about it and get it too? There are plenty of loot that are no longer available and you know what? There will always be a kids like you who will come by later and demand them. If the devs decide to please all of you then no loot will ever be gone. They will be forced to bring back everything after a few months making everything worthless. I realize some selfish kids do not care what their desires do to the game. Your argument is they whould just bring back the helmet you want. Why are you that special. There are people who want other older loot and they are not getting so you should not be any different.

People want this item because it is a classic movie-authentic item... one that can be worn and allow the player to better make believe they are within the Star Wars Universe.
Comparing this helmet to a painting from the Bestine Museum is really not appropriate.
It is hardly selfish to ask for this helmet to return to this game... it was not a hard-to-get item, it was a reward during a very commonly done theme park... but it was quietly and suddenly removed as a reward only a few months after the game launched.
No one knows why... TH was going to look into why at one point.
It is similar to the Imperial Uniform Hat.
The only difference is that the Hat was broken (Could not be worn) so eventually they removed it from the game... only to finally put it back in (permanently).
Items such as these should not only be available in limited quantaties or during a small window of time... they are props and tools to allow greater Star Wars immersion.
We can agreee to disagree, but your charges that anyone wanting these helmets to be returned to the game are "selfish" and your insinstance that these helmets should not be returned are pretty rediculous... in my opinion.
Sounds like you should just go and have some fun, forget about posting contradictory replies and allow others to have some fun.

clone armour isnt faction armour its a quest reward and any race can wear it but it is the only exception to the rule duno if its ment to be like this or soe just forgot to limit it but as for realy faction armour wookiees and ithorians cant wear it.

Let me try and put it in simpler terms
I AM TALKING ABOUT A REBEL HELMET
I am not talking about other loot, I am not talking about paintings, I am not whining, I am a legal adult, I am not being selfish, I don't think I am special, I am not aking to recycle all loot, I am talking about a helmet.
