i can understand why ur PO'd ur a weapon smith, and now ur usual clientel which would always purchase weapons from u are no longer cause they can finally use that weapon thats been sitting on the shelves cause it was about to break

My Best T21 cost me 360K & that was just a Med Quality one. In the Store that had some reeeal Nice Craftes & Sliced Uber T21's, this was the cheapest, the most expensive being a measely 3.6mill for a Min 120 / Max 545, Speed 7.2 with a crappy Condition of 870...!!!
Y o Y, on earth would i want to have something so Expensive decay faster that i can make a profit on it...?
If Wepsmiths weren't so greedy & stopped trying to Sell guns at What must be around 6,000% Mark-up, then we might not need such things as ADK's ingame.
THese guys Mass produce these things for Peanutz, & Hold the Galaxy to ransom with these Over the top prices, so is it little wonder that the Devs gave Vets a reward like this to Show their Appriciation for players who have Stuck it out & Learned to Live with the High Prices that the Smiths have set.
Perhaps if you guys lowered your prices from 3mill to mabe 50K for the best T21's & other Similar rifles,,& Made your Millions through Mass Selling & Hard Work, As opposed to Selling a few Good Weps to Desperate players, with a Minute amount of Work involved, There Would be a Steady Demand & PPL would not need to put ADK's in their weps, because they know they can just go out & get a new one at anytime..!!!
Also if you were selling the Best weapons at affordable prices, PPL would be LEss inclined to go out Looking for the Uber-Loot guns, they wouldn't need them!!!
Hell If I Have to pay 350k for a MEd Quality gun, I'm Sure as hell going to Put my ADK in it, Until i can find myself a free Looted Uber Gun for my ADK...!!!
I'd Happily Delete my ADK, for a Constant Supply of "Very Hi-End Weps that Didn't cost me myEverything i have Erned ovet the Life of the Previouse weapon!!

Exactly same with pearls one of the most expensive lootable items inthe game to purchase from vendors/auctions 3million+ for 1 premium pearl now jedi can keep their uber pearls decay free and in doing so will hopefully encouragepearl looting players to lower their prices as stocks begin to build up.

sorry for my ignorance, but I though they changed ADK's so that instead of infinate condition it just returns an item to it's max condition once & then the item then starts decaying again. please tell me if I'm wrong. I've got an ADK sitting in my inventory doing nothing

You are wrong, it does return the weapon to its max condition of the time you put the adk on it but it also does not decay anymore.

Sooo True.
Yup it isn't just Weps that MErchants are Charging Unbeleievable prices for.
Also armor is quite expensive on most Servers.
On Fartstar... the average for Adv Com Peices ranges from the Silly to the Insane...!!!
Many "Single" Peices are around 100K each, & thats unsliced.
A Sliced peice of armor can reach as high as 300k "Just for a Bracer" with 80% Special & 90% Base Resists.
LAstnight, the best & Cheapest i could find in Stun Protection was near 120K per Peice "nsliced".
Stupidly, i brought 4 suits & then spent another 250k getting them Sliced.
Got 2 full 80% - 90% suits out of it & one Good Knock-about Low Ham Suit.
But in reality, this should really have only cost me about 300k all up.
It's insane!!
Personally, i think the only Items ingame that should reach insane prices are the Legendary/Exeptional items, that deserve the price mark they are given..!!
And like i said befor...., I'll Delete My ADK's the Day i see a "Universal" Drop in Prices to a point that nayone can afford their stuff with a single days pay.
But as long, as i am not going to make enough $ on a weapon / Armor to pay for its self & give me a little profit in the meantime,. My ADK's stay right where they are...!!!!
The Way i see it is like this :
The MErchants & Crafterson these Servers have Litterally holding everyone else to Ransom for all this time.
The ADK's are now giving Us the Opportunity to Turn the Tables on them & Give them a taste of their own medicine..!!!
And they DON't LIKE IT ONE LITTLE BIT!!!

And every now and then some new guy would want to be the DM and before that nights adventures were over everyone in the party would have a ring of wishes, or an artifact or psionics. Gods in other words. New guy thought everyone would like him for these gifts, and he handed them out for that reason
This is exactly the same thing. Only now you have players selling their ADK's to other players and the super rich uber players are just going to be more super rich and uber when the dust settles.
I could write pages of the way this is, will and has hurt the players already. You have to see how bad these can be. Please, take them out or change their function or something.

LOL its a great gift. It's only one per person, and of that total population, not everyone is picking it, so its even less than that. Some dont care about it, and they sell it, good, others who are so burried in other activity relish an opportunity to slow down all the decay busiwork around repairs and replacements, good, and if a segment pile some up to have some of their goods anti-decayed, thats a splash in the pond, and of no consequence. This is a non issue.
I have 4 personally, and it just slows the crazy decay when I'm so so busy on other things including crafting and servicing guildmembers, its welcome relief from constantly dealing with 9 different pieces of armor, and as a swordsman, 3 different weapons I use for different circumstances, so of at least 12 decayable items, I've managed to turn a small tide on 4 of them... whoopteedoo.... and when i was a pistoleer, I had to have a diff type pistol for each type of damage (blast, energy, kinetic, stun, etc. etc. etc.) constantly losing good guns, what a freakin nightmare, pitty the pistoleers, and other profs are just like that where one weapon doesn't cut the mustard, must have a good half dozen in play....
This thread is nonsense, sorry to say.
