I agree to an extent, but I think alot of that is greed. If you really think about it, the time and effort it takes to get the Mando is about the same as either a FS grind or a Jedi grind, which does make sense. I agree that it should really take a dedicated person, just as someone who wanted to be a Jeid must be dedicated. However, I'm not sure if the loot rate should be upped at all. It seems the people who have the components are the people who camp the place 24/7 though, which is disscouraging. If they were to do anything, they should make the loot so that you have to complete a quest much harder than the foreman's quest, with stricter time limits, and then are guarenteed to get it after you kill 50-100 Death Watch. And you would have to repeat this quest to get a new set of BL and PLC. This would end the camping a bit, but in essense keep the loot rate very low.

The comparison to the jedi system sounds good, but doesnt really work out in the game.Myself, for example, got a full templated Jedi (pre-ryatt-trail). It took about a year of work to get this far. Now if i look back, I'm working on the DWB for over a year too, yet i'm not an inch closer to Manda Armor than I was a year ago. (I've done the Foreman's quest, but thats not the limiting factor).

I completely agree with you that the access to Manda Armor should be skill-based (player-skill, not character-skill) and take a series of difficult quests to get. I think the Foreman's quest is intended to be exactly that, and it would work out if you had to do the quest again for every Alum Mineral instead of getting one everytime you speak to the Foreman after completing the quest once.

In the comparison to the Jedi system I didn't really get across my point exactly. To get Jedi it requires alot of 'mindless' grinding. You have to spend weeks (days if you were a AFK Ryatt Trail Jedi )hunting with groups to get the exp needed to advance. It is similar to Mando. You have to spend days farming for loot in order to get the parts. In that reguard it is similar to a Jedi grind, you just have to stick with it and don't give up or expect it to drop. However,I stand by what I said before, that this should not be the case. There should be a skill based quest, which would be insanely hard with strict timers, that would allowa 'Boss'Death Watch to drop a PLC and BL after you kill a random amount of DW (50-100) and finish the quest.

No

Keep it the way it is, obtainable through some hard work

If its any easier, every noob will be running around with it. I dont think you want that now do you?

What do you consider "hard work"? As I said, i've spent over 120 hours inside the dwb and around 60 more hours with planning and organising. Where do you draw the line?

And of course every noob would run around in Manda Armor, cause i see noobs with Jetpacks all the time flying through Mos Eisley or doing missions on Dant.

Compare it with the "ordinary" BH Armor. It takes far less work to get, but how many people do you see running around in it? Most i have seen were 3 a day, in average its only one. Now how often would the Manda Armor be worn/seen if the droprate would be upped a bit?

only 120 hrs?

/spit

Get to dwb and do some work

Are you completely out of touch with reality? People like you are what ruin this game.
