Thread: What loot would you want to see?

Random musings:


-anti-root food (maybe it would lessen the chance of a root sticking to 10% for 10 minutes)


-melee range extender powerups (500 use, +10 range)


-faction point drops: sort of like credit chips that give you maybe 2000 fp if cashed in to a recruiter or other designated npc.


-cool faction loot (rebels get rebel-specific loot for killing imps and vice versa): drops of uniform sets, faction vehicles, Imperial guard robes, data pad that can be used 5 times that calls in a random spawn of 10 lvl 85 rebels or imps to help you out in a pinch (would help the solo characters against Necrosis, etc).


-legendary weapons, uber SEAs, and flawless crystals idea: Have a single truly legendary weapon, even more uber SEA than exists now (+40 for combat mods, +30 for experimentation mods), and flawless crystal spawn in a 3 mobs per server re-set. These would be completely random (they could spawn in a NS Elder or in a random CL 4 thug). Since there are only three and totally random, it would be super-rare to ever get one, but the possibility would exist....which is whatkeeps loot hunters goingisn't it?


-super-rare lootable mount deeds (how about a borgle bat we can fly on?)


-don't drop new weapons (except the random flawless ones) unless in schematic form to support crafters.


-Change some of the worthless caves to level 80+ to allow for more places to farm loot and gain xp. Seriously...is there any reason for anyone to go the the Aqualish Cave? Not even the noobs bother so it is just a waste of space. I miss the pre-CU days in Ft. Tusken and the Jinda Ritualist Cave (those little guys used to drop crystals like candy).


-No more smuggler loot drops. Give the crafters some love and allow them to craft smuggler tools.

-Pearls and Crystals that have a better chance of tuning good. Not to say they have to be Premiums or Flawless.


-A color crystal that you can tune that adds actual dmg.

The white helmet the Rebel Security guards wear. (also known as the Tantive IV helm)

Agree! This Helmet looks definitely cool! But it should be a rebel faction item.

- A Rifle scope powerup that enhances the range of the weapon.
- An aquarium for the house (so you don't have to build one out of 50 different items).

The Faction loot drops...interesting thought. Thought the old disks could be put together and turned in for faction....or does that not happen any longer?

Awsome Ideas, i would love to see some royal gaurd armor!!!

they need to make some new craftable weapons, sure the sith sword and the Kashyyyk bladstick look sweet, but they need to make them craftable so everyone has one with diffrent stats.


i would love to see new house floor plans as well.

the loot kits were great too, they did have items for that tracking device thing but i dont think they ever went anywhere with it.


new clothing, and for Wookiees more color schems.

Does blaster-bolt colour modifiers count as decorative, or non-decorative?


Either way, I'd love to see schems for that one introduced.

it was actually only around 800 credits. Personally, before we get into adding loads of new loot, i would like loot that caters to the average player. Not the jedi master defender who can kill a dozen DJM's per day, or the MBH who can kill 500 marks per day, i would just like loot that i can kill. I am a melee normie. My looting choices are very limited at the moment. I cant solo krayts, i cant solo dark jedi npc's, i cant even solo black sun mobs. Im not whining, just stating a fact (i happen to love my template).


Let us get back the loot we took for granted, before moving on to bigger ideas.
