Thread: It's time to bring the prices of things into reality!!!
First off i'll cover most of the topics without quotes so just pay attention.
Money does leave the system. There is a huge post about how money enters and leaves the system.
Basicaly credits come in through like 4 or 5 ways, missions being the highest by far followed by npcs etc.
Credits leave the system through bank tips, houses, repairs, insurance etc.
Currently the game is losing more credits then it is making.
Now to start on the crying about prices.
Thing in this game are "generaly" placed into difficulty vs time.
The reason a black sun helm costs so much is because the mob that drops it is very difficult and it takes a lot of time.
Good weapon are expensive because krayts are difficult to kill and it takes a lot of time to loot good tissue.
Good armor is expensive because it takes A LOT of time for the resources that are needed to spawn in good quality.
This continues through food, vet rewards, and other items.
It's about time invested and who can do what you do. The reason mando, bane crystal, RIS, blah blah is so expensive is because not everyone can just go out and get it.
I personaly can make 15-20 mil in a 4-6 hour sitting in this game consistantly.
Making money in this game is easy, if you follow and inderstand the market and the needs of the powergamers/rich.
When I started this game a little over a year ago .... i made way over 40Mil(worth more in that time
After CU, first thing i did was immediatly check out EVERY poi on every planet, to check out the new CL's, and the loots.....after a few days i ended up in the marauders cave ... first CA it dropped for me was a LS exp +15 / Artisan exp +10 .... sold for 40 Mil .... you can imagine i camped the place for a while
For a while, i also grinded resources ... easiest money making ever ... bought myself 5 no-power deeds and harvesters, checked forums and swg-craft for poplular resource, and just placed a harvester and switched it on, to collect the resources a few days later...
Another user mentioned gathering creature-resources while grouphunting ... perfect method ... also ask you group-mates to harvest for you if they can and want ... you're then grinding xp, mission-money and resources !!!
Yes everything is expensive, but it is so bloody easy to make money in this game ... want it fixed?.... wipe everybodies bank-account ... and stop handing out the stupid rewards .... specially the adk was a big mistake...

its crazy how we're expected to get so much, ive actually stopped grinding cuz i wanst racking in enough money, now i do quest for rare items and sell them and im living off of the crappiets armor u can get... i have a tantel chesplate with ubese bracers, helmate, pants ange boots w/ ok stats its time for SOE to bring more money into the game... even tho its player based economy, they can give NPCs more loot value and make the missions of higher value... i with they did
I was kinda poor pre cu, I had hard time to get 100k credits..... post cu I was more usefull.... being a shooty girl I sudently became day flavour.... I stoped 9 month between cu and last time I played before but when I came back evrything was easy for me and I became what peoples can call rich. Not because I have a 100million credits but because I own good equipement and interesting items like my tissues colection but how can I become rich? easy: I bring stuff I want crafters use in my equipement by myself. I needed a good gun, tissues I put in worth 15 million on my server but the weapon cost me nothing I furnished evrything. Same go for my armor and all..... after I furnish them with tissues bones scales anything they may like. For a fighter knowing what he is doing and where he can go.... there is no such problem.
All I can say is: look what savage capitalism do..... money worth nothing and poor stay poor rich go richers.
