I used a 28-30 spd increase pup (not sure of exact stats atm) but it comes with a -39 to acc so its give and take. (Cant wait for a WS on this server to make some good melee pups like the ranged guys currently have , with +19% dmg, and only -2% spd.....thats gunna be nice when it happens.) Eat some Crispic and u are above normal acc anyways so its all good :0) With 700+dps from that I am curious to see what a good slice will do to it after slicing gets fixed

here's an update, no i can't solo the katarn, his dizzy attack is what ruins it all, which he keeps on you at all times, don't even bother trying to state cure it, it'll just show right back up!

But you were able to handle everything leading up to the Katarn, correct?

The Feral Wook's just before the Katarn have been increasedto cl79 since pub 17, everything on the lower lvl's of the trail have. For that matter every mob has been increased with damage output since pub 17. I solo'd it up to the Katarn before that, and have taken a few guildies throu it since, it is defenetly a lot harder now. The whole lvl with the wooks and spider thingies, is nothing but a nightmare. I am a Master Ranger as well, and my camo kits did not stop a one of the from agro'n me. I use camo all the time as I wish to choose my fights, I solo a lot, so I know what I am doing with it (walk alot).

Can anyone tell me where to find the Crazed ex-Jedi for this quest?

You can find the crazed jedi just after you pass the rodian camp on the second level. You will come to a "fork" of sorts where the main path curves to the right and there is a slight graded hill to your left. The Jedi is up that hill to the left.
As far as soloing the Katarn, no way. I just got my knuckler last night as an TKM/Doc w/ an 80 swordsman/doc and MBH/Pistoleer. We had to fight him twice. The first time didn't go so well...We prepped a little better the second time and I used a force health crystal for an extra 2k hp. The fight was still VERY close. DPS seems to be the key. I was able to tank well enough, but the three of us were very close to dying on the second time. One more dps type would have made it a cake walk I think.
Honestly, the hardest part was getting the other two people through the 4th level through the spiders and wookies. I was able to run right through w/o issue though. Pausing to CoB and just healing up as I ran.

Correct it's definately harder, thank goodness there are sooooo many "can't see target" areas to hide in

Can someone point me to a thread that goes over the Katarn Knucklers? I have browsed several pages of the forum and have yet to come across one. I am but a weak TKM and would like more power in my punches. So if anyone can assist.. i would appreciate it. Thanks!
