Your account has always been defined as the 1 point you login with and all characters on all servers associated with THAT ACCOUNT. If you have 2 accounts, you have to log off and log back in with the other account.
This is a reward for loyalty, not a free prize. You really want the market flooded with this stuff? I dont.
No. I'm angry because SOE did not clearly state that this reward was for one character per account. I logged into my test account this morning (not TC), got the message boxes, assumed it worked as the vet reward for the sub, claimed the reward. Logged off the server that I try new professions on and logged into my real character where there are no rewards because my test toon claimed them.
I have no desire to flood any market. This is not the first time SOE has failed in technical writing. (I spent 3 years in this field. They suck at it) I made this post to WARN other players so they receive their award on the server and character they desire.

Exact same thing happened to me, I am totally pissed as well. My problem was that I wasn't sure if I claimed a 90-day reward, I could still claim a 360 day reward, because the wording was a bit unclear. So I tested it on a character of mine in Tempest just to see how it worked, and then planned on logging my character on Bria on to get the ones I actually wanted. Now I have a bunch of worthless rewards sitting on a character I never use.Good times.
We should not have to scour the forums for detailed descriptions and instruction manuals on something that should have been made clear by one simple sentence.
For The Field Items are limited to a one time choice per item per account. For example once you choose a Self powered harvester you can not choose another. You could choose a Crate of any existing resource (30k), but once you took that, you would not be able to take it again with a future choice. The For the Home and For Fun items can be taken multiple times.
Does this mean that we CAN take For the Home and For Fun rewards on multiple servers/toons? Can someone who has taken rewards on their main character please try to take a reward on an alt server? If not, I'll try it when I get home from work...
