Not that you'd have probably gotten jack anyhow considering what extrodinary lengths are necessary to get most things of any value loot-wise. *shrug*
This is exactly right, happened to me on Ancient Krayt's alot. Usually a group or solo player goes hunting and dies. Maybe several groups try. But in the end the one who kills it didn't do enough damage to it to count as the looter. This should be changed, I think the death blow should count higher then the damage taken.

Soloing, Ha! Probaly more like trying to kill steal, you cant solo krayts or goraxs anymore, and you get that message if you try to loot someone elses kill.

I know you said you soloed it, but were you in a group and the members just far away? Sometimes i get that bug. Drop group then loot and it works.

They were probably empty anyway, or just had some smuggler stuff in them. Maybe my luck just sucks but the drops have been horrible lately, out of 5 ancients i gotone stack ofscales (+8 health) and one "delicate" trigger assembly, and yes the other three were empty

So i take it they didnt put something in the program to reset the creature once it regenerates all its health? That way when the next person fights it, it has no history of a previous battle.

That has not been my recent experience...
Two nights ago I was moving in on a Canyon Krayt when all of a sudden a jedi jumped in and started to battle it...
He stopped after realizing that he could not kill it...
I moved in... killed the beast and was not able to get the loot... I know for a factI did mor damage than the jedi...

Depends on the Krayt on how sucessful you will be, but Gorax? The Gorax is easily soloable...

Depends on the Krayt on how sucessful you will be, but Gorax? The Gorax is easily soloable...

Canyon krayts are easily solo'ed
easily
Ancients are not any harder just take longer.

Sometimes I get this message if I tried to loot it just after I killed it. This might not have anything to do with your problem but just saying that you should wait a few seconds after a mob dies to loot it.
