I love the JukeBox, i bought two yesturday ... it is abit steep in price though, this would be nice in a player city cantina

I do wish it was craftable... i'd like to have one in ever room of my house... it sets a certain Ambience

I've said the exact same thing many times... make the jukebox a permanent item! We've needed these things since launch. Lets face it, player-owned structures are dead quiet. The jukeboxes add a nice feel and add more life to them. But they're not worth it for eight hours. I mean, eight hours just isn't enough... atleast a month (though they should be permanent).

If the Devs don't really want to make them a "decoration" item, so to speak, then make them so we have to pay maintaince to them like a vendor or a structure (call it a "radio station fee" or something like that). If you don't pay the maintaince then you lose the jukebox, but if you do pay the maintaince it stays for the duration of the amount of maintaince you put into it. I wouldn't mind paying maintaince to keep these items in my house.

I don't really think they should count towards your player event perk decoration limit either. (Of course, if they were player craftable they probably wouldn't count torwards your decoration limit anyway.)

Oh and...

I agree with this one. I absolutely love the jukebox! However, I do think the devs will continue making it a timed item simply to encourage player events.. which I'm not opposed to either. I love player events!

Maybe make a permanent one that requires maintenance?

All of the other decorations are eight-hours. The jukebox I doubt would affect any event much if it was permanent or not.

Permanent jukeboxes would be great, however, I agree with Drecki that music playing in shops could get somewhat annoying, and perhaps boring after a while. I think the best solution would perhaps have the music only play when the owner or an admin of the building enters, making it perfect for homes and parties butwithout creating undue lag in every structure.

I agree with this. Make the owner when present bay able to be able to play music when in their home alone if they want. I also agree with the loot idea of having more discs to play or having the loot music discs schematics crafted, "songs of the drall" anyone?

Like everything else, the newness will wear off and nobody will buy jukeboxes anymore, killing the money sink idea.

Making them craftable would be cool, but if they could at least make them last for a couple of days that would be fine too. 25K for only 8 hours is a lot. How about 25K for two days?

If this is made craftable it should not last forever, I think that it should wear out and have to at the least have parts replaced to help the economy of the crafters. And they should last at the least a few days, but definitely more than the 8 hours we have now.
