i seriously dought it was an assebly failure, since read the Update notes and they said there would no longer be any more critical failures..... unless crits and assembly failures are not the same thing?

The bug with the recycler and component schematics is not a normal critical failure. It was aweird bug that gave a weird cryptic error. It has not been fixed.

No. I tried today and lost an agitator motor. I really should be more diligent about reading these forums before TRYING ANYTHING NEW IN GAME but I just am too lazy...

Thanks for this great tip Unagamer, just successfully used it to make 2 agitator motors, a tumbler blender and a ore recycler all using your workaround method.

Confirmed, this works. I made a Agitator motor, took 200 sec to finish. Then made a Flora Recycler and it came out so fast that I thought I lost it because the first thing that I looked for was the cook timer. No cooking time what-so-ever, as soon as I hit the prototype button it spit it into my inventory.

I just lost two cause I had not heard of this. I hope they are good to their word on replacing the components.

Can confirm this works also. Made 4 recyclers and there parts creating a macro of the the commands. When I get the error I closed the error message box (NOT THE CRAFTING BOX) and ran the macro from the tool bar. The tumbler and agitator take like 199 sec....The recyclers themselves seem to get dont right away, perhaps a few seconds.

I just used your workaround to craft a metal recycler. I already had it replaced after it messed up the first time I tried to craft it so I was a little nervous... doubt I could get the CSR's to replace my stuff twice! But it worked like a charm, only took 1 second to pop out. Thanks!

I can also confirm this works. Just crafted an Agitator Motor. Used a generic crafting tool, got the error on assembly, closed the error window then ran the macro from the toolbar. The crafting session stayed open and the crafting tool counted down from 199. At the end I had a new agitator motor
. Then I closed the crafting session. Thanks so much! Off too look for spinner blades!
