Thread: If you want loot buy the new expansion!

All in all I'd say RotW was worth it's money. The quests were fun and the loot was good. (I love my chiss backpack)
The only gripe was the lack of stuff for crafters. Everything looted there is pretty good, should have been more schematics.
I agree. I had a lot of fun with this expansion and loved all of the loot. In fact, I'm still questing to get it all

[17:31] *HadoVebeap* Hi Swg Dev's, are there any news if you will add something worth to be hunted? Atm only Bh mark drop highend stuff, this is pretty unfair for everyother prof. Are there any plan if NS or other high end mobs will finaly drop something usefull again?
[17:32] We've definitely got high-end loot planned for ToW, and for a variety of professions In addition to combat loot, expect to see some collectable, unique loot.
Right now the loot is pathetic. There isn't much worth hunting out there. Before that we had krayts, nightsisters, black suns, aakuans, the corvette, the dwb.
Sure Black Suns and the DWB are still supposed to drop stuff but the drop rate is ridiculous. A mate killed +800 black suns so far and has yet to get a single jetpack base.
So if you want some loot buy the expansion. Woot! *rollseyes*

done 300 BS over the past week or so no loot what so ever. Only credits now that is messed up!
Do yourself a favor. Save your Money.
Well i've always found what is good loot to some is crap loot to others so it really just all depends. I mean i remember a time when the cool new loot were the new paintings... but after about a month they became so common no one wanted them anymore. Then some people (like myself) love both decoration and weapons loot (the rarer the better for me!) while others just consider new weapons loot and decorations to be crap.
So it really all just depends on whose asking the question
Stop cry about "hard to loot jet pack bases" ... All you hear on this board is "jet pack bases still droping?" jet pack bases blah blah blah.... Yes tehy drop... Yes they are rare....It is't supposted that all n00bs are going to have JEt packs thast why these things are rare.
Stop whine. If people want Loot then offer some tiime on it. A real pve looter never cry on the loot rate. Thats why we have PVE. It isnt supposted to be droping after 1 kill.![]()

I figure in a large part this is due to having a player crafted economy, but surely there must be a beter way to integrate loot with crafting (i.e. new BH casing/power cell drops.)
The possibilities are endless: +damage PERCENTAGE components to weapon crafting process (and no more silly caps please), defensive bonus armor crafting pieces, +luck CA and components (if it actually did anything), appearance mods to armor (how about some flashy L.E.D.s on your helmet, definitely not unbalancing), schematics for new clothes, BE clothing upgrades, MAX LEVEL/SKILL POINT INCREASERS, etc. etc. I really don't think any of these would be unbalancing as everybody would have a chance to loot them. Make loot available on ALL mobs (including lvl 1 creatures), of course quality would be determined by level, this way the 2-day noob doesn't get kept out of the fun.
As it stands now, it seems to me that this game is an MMO experiment gone awry, with nothing but a dead end for veteran players (who don't want to grind jedi, but maybe would if there were a reason to kill things.)
My 2 cents.
