Sorry guys, this kind of scum has been plauging EverQuest for years, and was even responsible for some serious inflation on one occasion.

I refer to Yantis Enterprises, and the MacroQuest application. Damn near every action in EQ could be botted with that app, they aso used it to power level toons for sale to new players.

SOE has over the years tried to get tough with the 3rd party macro'ers but the creators of these things are mostly underground, and the apps themselves are damn hard to detect (and LOTS of people dont like the idea of SOE telling them what they can and cannot run in the background on their own computers)

SO its becomes like r/l law enforcement, a cop (aka CSR) has to catch someone in the act of commiting the crime to do anything. Go ahead and petition though because if enough complaints come in, the CSRs will start watching that account and its trading patterns. (recall the big bust last year on the credit dupe scam?) The CSR can basically hang out and watch the perp in action (if SWG CSRs can do anlything like the GMs of EQ, they can sit at the location, invisible, and watch what the perp does)

In Everquest, people screamed of course about how the GMs were Nazis but fact of the matter is that the GMs sat there and watched the exploits go down over and over, and collect chat logs of the players bragging about their crime (remember SOE is Big Brother, they have logs of EVERYTHING and can watch EVERYTHING you do in game)

This needs to be cracked down on. I was in the same poi cave on Corabantis & I saw a guy log in & loot & log out. He only hit one of the debris piles. I managed to get the others (not much loot) & decided to wait around to see if he kept coming back.... He did. Same thing.

This time I went to the same spot & about 3 min before the spawn was to hit I kept trying to loot it...... over & over & over...... it spawned & I got it. About a sec later he loaded in on top of me. I said in spatial "Oops" & he said "lol". I did not pay attention to his name & this time he did not log out. I tried to talk to him, but he would not reply. That was my only trip there.

oh btw if devs dont take care of this we could always start a team of ppl that take suscibtion on exploiters and sutch and start trolling there posts, kinda like i did
