So I'm in the borgle cave on Rori, having calculated the 10hr respawn with the server maintenance and hoping to luck out and grab my wannabe WS buddy a nice exp tape. To my amazement the cave is empty and I open the debris pile and wait for some nice loot to spawn. Then I see this person log in on top of me. So I think, "Ok, let's race for the loot then". Well, hardly. I see two tapes spawn for about .0001 seconds and poof, they're gone instantly.
So yeah, I'm not pleased. I think to myself this dude must be using a 3rd party program or something to be THAT fast. But I know SOE can't prove that so I wouldn't bother reporting it.
Then I get curious.. how long has this guy been at this routine? Well, I took the time to run a quick search on the trade forum for the character name. What did I find, you ask?
WHAT!?!? So now I'm looking at this list of heavenly AA/CA and drooling on my keyboard. Lol. And then.. the icing on the cake. Look at the signature:
The Exchange Bureau back in business! Trade your credits across servers.
Comission rates as low as 10%. Immediate transfers, zero risk business! PM me.
Now serving: Bria, Europe-Chimaera, Eclipse, Kauri, Kettemoor, Radiant, and Tempest.
Are you kidding me? This guy is not only pulling this crap on my server but onSIX other servers? And implies such in hisforum signature?
Is there anything to be done about "players" like this? Are any of you also upset that one person can take a POI away from all other players on 7 servers? I posted this question on the CS forum and got the generic robot response, emailed a few csr's and haven't heard anything back. I find their perceived apathy pretty discouraging. So if anyone else on these seven servers wants to get lucky with Borgle cave loot, they arepretty much forced to use a 3rd party program. Wake up SOE.

up what needs to happen is random spawns of the tapes not a set schedule

As well as removing the ability to use loot and combat commands with recursive macros.

i highly doubt that is being done with an in game macro .. but instead a 3rd party program that will start up the game, log em in, target the container and loot it ...
and yes programs like that exsist ... as far as i know they are not legal for game use but that doesn't stop many people from using them

OMG!
No wonder it is so hard to find good loot... I think that now you have flagged this up, someone should look into it.

This definitively needs to be bumped! Cmon TH, Tiggs... This is ruining the economy. Please consider randomizing the spawn of this stuff on your loot revamp.

things like this hurt the economy but no where near as much as the people that camp the rare spawn npc's 24/7 and kill it 99% of the time then they sell that loot to weaponsmiths/armorsmithgs for an insaine price .. which keeps weapons made from the items high in price to

They are there, just no one has brought this attention to them.

No, it's not an Ingame macro, this is definitely 3rd party stuff. In fact he loots at the exact time the loot boxes respawn.
The guy's forum name is Cootie and he does this on every server
He has been camping the borgle bat caves regularly on kauri for at least 3 months.
These are the type of people I wish SOE would deal with. but they can't really act upon transactions that happen outside the game. I believe some people have reported him, but so far it hasn't done any good.
The saddest part is, he truly believes he's doing everyone else a favor by afk looting and selling the attachments for millions of credits.
