Thread: why do ppl always spell it kryat and not krayt?

cause for some reason they decided to call them "cry at's" instead of "crates" We had a couple of guys in TS that would pronounce it the first way, used to drive me up the wall.

The same reason people say 'Kelvar Helmet' instead of 'Kevlar Helmet', 'vanilla' envelope, and VIN number (the N in VIN stands for number)..either stupidity or laziness.
