You know Hakiri i think you should do something else than ghetto bounty hunting if you cant get together 3 mil credits, its all about being creative i made approx 40 mil with my main selling resources to holo grinders and the like, selling high end avian meat and all that its all about using your head and stop trolling around the Jedi board and go out and actually make some money instead of wasting everyones freaking time on your **edit**ed up posts.

why would anyone pay 3 milfrom farstar when they only cost 2?

how about you sell them for 1 to people from farstar as your being so nice...

let me guess they are 2 mil on your server and you want to make an extra mil out of it?

I have had several jedi on my server contact me and even meet me in person.... i know most of em anyway. I always ask for some sort of proof that they are really s jedi sp im not just sellin to the average joe pearl farmer

actually he's doing something great. unread pearls on our sever cost 5-6 mill and some ppl are asking 12 mill minimum - 17 mill buyout for some krayt pearls (which is completely insane and no one will ever bid on those). 3 mill is a great price compared to wat pearls usually go for on our server. Pearls selling for 6-8mill (even 10 mill per) isnt that rare....

Yea its freaking nuts on our server i got one crappy pearl for 4 mil 112/112 min/max

I changed my lovely master smuggler/tkm template to be a rifleman/doc so i can try and get krayts at server up

The good news is that they fixed the problem with crystals and pearls by nerfing the drops. No wait - doesnt that drive up the price? They can nerf drops in a day but it takes them months to find a solution to a problem that makes the jedi character playable - forgot fun im talking about playable. Luckily I can go play my alt until I earn 20M to buy a decent pearl........ maybey. I think they plan on making Jedi rare by making them not worth playing.

I sell my pearls to guildmates for 2.5 million set. First come first serve. If nobody (jedi) want them in my guild, I will sell them on the bazaar. I am a BH. Dont complain to the players b/c that is the way the economy works, complain to the devs.

5 million = 10 overpriced crystals at 500k or 20 crystals at a reasonable 250k.

Hehe, and crystal sabers are only good up to 3rd generation most of the time so one pearl = 10 crystal sabers.

Bah WoW is overrated, City of Heros rocks, or better yet get another sony game and you can get the ALL ACCESS PASS for one LOW LOW PRICE and play both games.

Also consider that many Jedi only need 1 really good 5th generation lightsaber with pealrs as an "Oh *edit*! This is bad now!" A 5th gen saber made with 4 pearls is very, very nasty (dam 1100 - 1620, spd 4.8). That was from 2 good pearls& 2 middle grade. This saber will decay just as fast, or even faster) than the standard 4th gen, middle grade, crystal saber I have constucted for grinding exp on normal hunts.

So following RandomLetters43945ir post, he makes an excellent point. 10 crystal sabers will get you alot farther up the trees of Jedi than a 5million per pearl saber. Consider the example above & think of only having 1 pearl. You have a 5 million credit pearl sunk into a 2nd Gen saber. You can follow the rest on it's own there.

Pearls are rare loots & should not be cheap. Jedi do not have to construct Lightsabers from Krayt pearls! They have to have crystals. And the Devs must address a viable alternative for crystal collection. I did not grind for 7 months to have to continue to play my Main to farm cash or crystals (or live on the Trade forums) so I can play a Jedi 2 hours every other day.

3 million a pearl is not a bad price for a server as young as Chilasta (spelling ?? ). Farstar has it just as bad with the average opening bid on pearls being 2.5 million & buyouts of 5 million. 3 million is a nice, non-haggle price for an unchecked pearl.

Think that is bad, look at people selling & buying Krayt pearls on Ebay for $50 each!

DEVS, THINK ABOUT THAT!

Just my thoughts on it. Not a flame at anyone save the Devs.

Personally I think a crystal with -8 force cost is more valuablethan a pearl with -4 force cost as long as crystal don't have like -30 damage.

Cant fault this guy for trying to do some business, but this thread belongs on the Chilstra trade forums, and not here.
Lastly, if the developers ever make krayt pearls and crystals as optional advanced components instead of requirements...i'm gonna have a good laugh at the horders of such items like i did with holo hunters after christmas.
