Just to confrim, I've also looted a Quality crystal from them. I delete all the lvl 4-54 weapons which appear to be useless - keep an eye out for capped weapons!

These guys do drop Crystals 3:1 times it seems. Some of you guys are just having bad luck, Dont expect to kill something as easy as these 111's that require almost no effort besides AI or kite and to instantly get crystals every drop(regarded to the poster). They drop tapes EVENTULLY, but that drop is about 30:1, so....yes yes the loot drop is horibly but when the improved AI for NPCs and creatures which also has said there will be improved loot when this comes meaning.......no more just kiting creatures like this because they will root/snare/ etc. you and that is one of the reasons of the improved loot

thats dumb, these things kill non-ai'd people in 2 shots

THis is very true, I got a quality crystal from the ones on the island near MO, dantooine about 4 days ago. It tuned to 70 damage, 0 speed, -2 FC......another crap tune.

on the other hand, I got a inventory full of CL 1 - CL 30 weapons from them though.....120 max damage and 25m range is a lot better than my damage capped, -.91 mod speed, 78 SAC DL44 XT pistol that I used to kill them with...LOL and it only took swimming from them until stopping shot recharged to kill them (about 4 stopping shots, so that's about 5+ mins to kill each one with a 30 min respawn....yup! another LOL)

those guys are easy as hell to kill so their rewards are appropriate. when they start using ranged attacks that do 1.2k a hit then you can complain about their loot.
