Thread: Lv111 mobs dropping Combat pistols (combat Lv4) is just mental

So.........


The "balanced" approach to determining loot for a critter that will kill you in one swipe determined that:

I would be really keen to own a gun that I started my Novice profession with.


This does not seem right at all, someone tell me that these guys actually drop something worth taking the risk for?

(I'm talking about the random Lv111 mobs on Dantoine)

I get loads of the old (Pre CU) medical stuff as loot from them. I have a stamina wound heal thingy and a damage stimpack that I need medical use: 69 or somthing to use. I've never looted any thing worth while but I've only killed about 12.

yes, the force pistol hunters pis5 me off as well.

killed a djk and got...
health wound medpack
killed a cl 111 guy and got....
a sr combat pistol

killed a herd (20-30) of force trained dweeb somehtings and got
3 pistols, one color crystal

the loot in this game licks bantha nether regions.

Seems like I am not alone in my pain. The risk is definitely NOT worth the reward at this point.


I "heard" (read: rumour) that there is some kind of compensation comming for the debarcle that was the patch upgrade. Apparently it was in the approval phase, intersting if it is just another tall tale or how long till we get this magical compensation.

Pre CU, that would probably have been a niceDoT weapon, but since DoT weapons are no more, they drop as normal loot guns.


Dark Nova Troopers are the same.

I happened by the island these guys spawn on, I killed them both, got a DL44 from one and a Quality Crystal from the other.
