All the numbered components (ie:Blue Rug Thread Two) can usually be found on the bazaar pretty cheaply.
The adhesives are the only really rare pieces. They often sell for 100K-200K, but if you're persistant enough you'll loot them yourself.

All of the components can drop from nearly any NPC. Level doesn't seem to make much difference from what I've seen. I've looted adhesives from meatlumps, and numbered rug parts from stormtroopers. If you really want to do a grind to try to find them, just goto an easy static NPC spawn such as the ones outside Kadaara, and eventually you should find what you need

I looted an adhesive for something (can't remember) yesterday.

Hmmmm... you know what, I hadn't even thought about that but you may be right. I've had dozens and dozens of these things on my storage vendor for so long, I hadn't noticed that I haven't found any recently (been focusing on newer loot so much)

Maybe they are scaling back on the drop rate? (or it could be glitched...)

You can get these loot kits from a junk dealer.

• orange rug


• blue rug


• small glass table


• mini gong


• naboo sculpture

..I think thats all of them.

Each takes a certain number of parts, they can be looted from any npc ( level doesn't matter ) and the glues sell for 500k or so.

each kithas 9 parts, 6 base pieces that sell for fairly cheap (just search the bazzar and you will probably find al the base parts), a adheasive that is expenisve if you try to buy it from vedor and doesn't drop very frequently. The remaining two parts varies for each kit. the rugs have die and patches, the gong has two skins (a front and back), the staue has two coats of gold plating, and the table has a small glass top and a large glass top. all the items just named drop less frequently than the 6 base parts, but more frequently than the adheasives and can vary in price, you just have to shop around to find them at a price you like. be aware that if any of the loot kits items are still dropping they are droping extra slow.

Has anyone noticed a lack of lloot kit parts dropping since the CU?

Since they patched the CU i've found npc missions easier for me so have been grinding NPC missions on Chimaera constantly adn haven't had one single loot kit part drop for me.

Anyone else notice a similar trend?

Well, im pre"loot kit" The Junk we used to get off NPC's were like water, im guessing thats why they added them, but you are correct, i havent seen any "junk" sence i have been back.
