Light Jedi should NOT be wearing black robes.
Its bad enough that i see 70% of the Light Jedi population on Bria using Sith Red ligthsabers.
Imagine they had both now...

Anakin had the black robes in Ep.2 too. And Luke had black robes too
.And the dark robes in SWG arent black, they are brown.
In fact, the colors of the robes doesnt say anything about alignment. Light/dark aka good/evil cant be transfered over to colors.

ok fair enough. I will let light jedi wear black robes.
*IF* SOE perminantly bans rebel jedi from having RED lightsabers!!!! I CAN NOT STAND THIS!!!

well then dark jedi shouldn't be using blue lightsabers
it's odd though, rebel=red, imperial=blue, the traditional saber colours are backwards....

Make it a simple a choice of like 100 styles of robe, that can be crafted by tailors for jedi to wear. ok make 500 styles lol

What if we had a +10 force regen CA from the shrine that could also be removed from the clothing? And also some new cloths (like cloaks, robes, with the same number of sockets as a multiple pieced clothing set. OR a +10 force regen necklace (with choseable style and color) would be nice too.

Why not just give us the mods innately? Then we can wear any clothes we want. Wouldn't need to make a lot changes for that.

It wouldn't be as unique as a custom color scheme radial option but it would still add a lot more diversity as there is currently.

I am sorry, but you interpret your Padawan training as the beginning and the end of Jedi when in fact it is only the beginning. Whether you are a Paddie who just got his training saber and has zero novices trained, or a fully templated Paddie who has yet to complete the Knight trials, you are STILL a Paddie. I see this ever increasing trend for the newer Jedi to believe that once they are complete with their Padawan training, that they are now complete Jedi. Until the FRS is returned, we ALL are stuck at Padawan. Even previously ranked Knights and above, are still functioning at Paddie level.
Unfortunately I must wholeheartedly disagree with your robes idea. To give even a completed templated Paddie, let alone a Paddie who simply completes a tier IV box, new robes when they've not even reached the Knight level, disrespects those who have already completed the Knight trials and above.
well we all have our opinions darka-ce...glad you took the time to read my idea. But most padawans in the movies had unique looking robes...they dont need to be as awesome and as elite as a jedi knight robe but nothing wrong with a little uniquesness amosts padawans. it wouldnt disrepect the jedi knights in the least as they are the ones that should be training, grooming and setting examples for the young padawan learners. Unless ofcourse you a sith

whats with the negativity... the robes just started dropping... some cool.. some look like old ones... but... they do have mods on them. nothing major... but enough to say it would be cool to have.

a few problems with these new robes:
1) u can't wear robes with cyber arms. i.e. no melee enhancements or rez arm capability
2) CA's with mods of LS speed or acc in clothing is better than these new robes.
3) too many jedi will look alike STILL making it pointless to get them.
