well if they ever do work again...just an idea for working robes

and your right i doubt we would get it...but i like posting my ideas on these forums...who knows maybe someone at SOE will like my ideasone day....not likely but i can always hope

Too often players and the devs have a mindset that professions should be balanced with 1 on 1 pvp in mind. This mindset is ruining the game. The benchmark for balance should be determined by the role a profession plays in a group setting. As long as the current mindset continues we will never see uniqueness among the professions, nor will we ever see individuality within a given profession. We will never see the SWG universe expanded as the focus will only ever be balance pass after balance pass after balance pass.

we should just be allowed to design our own robes and remove the restrictions on the clothing slot of a cloak and add in some new types of clothes. keep the standard robes for anyonethat wants them, but my clothes are 10x cooler than any robe.

This sounds like a good idea, though I also doubt we will get it. Perhaps more people would wear robes if you got more mods from them, to make them worth forgoing BE clothing.

i also like Oss_Wilum's idea. The ability to craft your own robe could be part of passing the padawan trials, with new robe craftingenhancement abilitiesin robes becoming available when you reach a level 4 box as in the main paragraph of this post. Such as skill enhancement modifiersto one-handed light sabers or any other skill.

no, I can picture all of the light jedi knights running around in black. Or pink-ish robes for that matter....

no i would definately say having bright pink robes would not be a good thing...the colors available at crafting...hypothetically speaking of course...would be earth tones

I dont wear the robe. There needs to be some more clothing diversity. We have not had any new styles since JTL, kinda lame.
