Before the CU I knew some jedi with sabers over 1000 damage. That royally sucks that you have to go through so many cystals and pearls. This is what I am talking about folks.
The dev's instituted the nerfed loot to control the amount of really powerful jedi. I am convinced of this.
ok A) that's a totally false statement....preCU sabers NEVER got over 1k dmg because the cap on normal Flawless pearls were only 50 dmg
B) pre patch 8 sabers yes could get over 1k dmg because they were kinetic and tunes were up in the 200's if i remember right (been a long time since i had that saber)
C) I have personally grinded out a friend's jedi POST cu looted about 50 pearls and build a good saber.....14 FPC with 650 max dmg and 1.5 speed using only post CU pearl drops.....Goods have the same range of dmg that can be tuned as a flawless just the "range" is so wide you have to go through alot...now i don't know if i'm lucky but i've gotten 109 -.19 -9 fpc pearl and a 112 -.2 -9 fpc pearl in that cluster of 50
D) FLAWLESS PEARLS ARE STILL....YES STILL IN THE GAME...the dev's just adjusted the loot drop percentage to that of winning the jackpot lottery by yourself and i can prove this in 2 ways....1...I looted a Flawless just last night after my upteenth kill of ONLY killing Ancient's and Giant's non stop..i never bothered with juvies or canyon's cause they're pearl drop ratio is slightly lower than giant's and ancient's....2....I bet none of you knew that there are 3 stages of quality in pearls and crystals ABOVE flawless I have talked to and confirmed this IN PERSON with the dev team that ALL QUALITIES OF PEARLS ARE STILL IN THE GAME......Exceptional.....Exceptional Flawless....and yes even a stage higher that not one person in any server has looted to this day...Priceless
So stick that in your pipe and smoke it for all you ppl complaining for pearls to come back.....they never left so go out and kill dragons till you puke
lol all you post CU jedi are annoying first of all 9/10 of you just afk grinded to full temp wow real hard, then 2nd you think you should be as good as us pre cu and pre pub 9 jedi. just shut it about pearls and stuff you already got your full temp jedi easy enough now actually spend some time looting and tuning.
diffrence pre CU full temps had to grind long and had hours for it. then still go loot some pearls and stuff yes we had better chances of better tuned pearls but we spent 4-10months grinding our jedi solo
post cu jedi can go to kash put on an afk macro go to work or do what ever the hell you want come back and be capped on xp. (to easy) so now your grind is to go and tune alot of pearls/crystals at a lower greater chance precentage then we did cause so far you didnt have to do much at all for your jedi.

Did you ever know Godmoney? or Infernus? 1100 max damage sabers did and do exsist.

With this statement you contradicted yourself in example A.

I disagree with good pearls being tunable in the range of flawless pearls. That is why there were good....and then there were flawless. You have a Hyundai.....or you have a BMW.

Tiggs admitted that the pearl drops are broken. See Smokafett1's earlier post in this thread. You are misinformed about higher stages of pearls.....higher than flawless anyway.
So stick that in your pipe and smoke it for all you ppl complaining for pearls to come back.....they never left so go out and kill dragons till you puke
As it were.....you don't have anything large enough to fill my bowl. Maybe you should put your pipe down and do some homework on this subject before you go posting fraudulent paragraphs about things you know nothing about.

Post cu jedi are annoying yes but here we are.....and were not going anywhere.
No one in my guild afk grinds. My post cu $15.00's is as good as your pre cu $15.00's
I have looted thousands of pearls....many flawless ones before the cu as well. That doesn't change the fact kryat hunting is lame now because there is no real reward for it.

6 trees of fs skills it takes to become a padawan. 6 branches x 3 weeks per phase = 18 weeks. So that's 4.5 months just to unlock. Longer really because most people skip certain phases because they want certain trees and not others. So 4-10 months for a hologrind according to you is about the same....maybe even shorter than the post cu grind.

oh and there was sabers over 1k damage pre cu post pub 8 or 9 cant remember but there was 5th gen sabers
1st gen for 1xxx 2nd gen 2xxx 3rd gen 3xxx 4th gen 4xxx 5th gen master LS
and there is a few people that still have these saber post cu and can still have 5 pearls/crystals in them with a saber average of over 840 max damage but most of them have quit now anyways
Ok so the truth comes out in your last paragraph. Pre cu jedi were, are, and shall remain (till soe clocks in and goes to work) more uber than post cu jedi.
Which brings us back to the original intent of this thread..........................

in response to A....no becuasei'm not on the same server as you thank god
B....i've known jedi on my server and been one since prepub 8 but i do not know any that have kept their old sabers and if you know one get them to post a screen shot cause not one person has gotten over 1k on myserver (kauri) and i was being specific to time lines prepatch 8...preCU and post cu are different time lines in SWG in my opinion
C...yes they do...think of it this way.....all pearls can be tuned from 0-120 ....example...i have personally tuned a small handfull of good pearls at over 110 dmg and -9 fpc....that alone is proof in my book in experience that they can all tune similarly but the odds of getting higher stat tunes lie in favor of higher quality pearls/crsytals...not to mention I don't post info that i've gotten from the forums...the only thing's i post are knowlege that i've gotten directly from the SOE team in my town to help clear up some understandings
D...I don't care what you've read Tiggs say (even though he is a nice guy that i've met) they arenot broken...it is the odds that have been bumped up on purpose by the SOE team...reason...i'm not sure i didn't ask but i don't care sinc ei have a perfect saber....and as far as over Flawless quality? If you're so informed you would know that there ARE 3 qualities above Flawless...exceptional...exceptional flawless...and pricelss(i think is what the SOE team called it) directly from them but no one has ever seen it.....only about 5 exceptional flawless were looted on my server and preCU when 50 was the top for flawless they got up to 100 max dmg and -14 fpc...how do i know? cause i knew the jedi that had 3 of them and a dozen or so exceptionals on the server as well

You are SO FULL OF IT LOL you didn't loot a flawless pearl nice try though... I have killed prob 1000 krayts maybe more since CU and nothing but goods... and i kill ancients and giants all the time
oh and it's called random loot.....i've killed tons of krayt's precu and never gotten a legendary/exceptional weapon but i know many that have, i was just lucky and no i don't have a screenie cause i didn't care that i looted it i still have a bunker full of flawless from preCU ancient killing

OK............so I have been flamed by yet another pre-nerf Jedi who allready has his uber saber with the good stuff in it.
