Ok guys- I have a jedi from way back in the day when you had to grind professions. I havent played since before JTLS and i just resubscribbed. How does everyone get lightsaber crystals now? What drops them? Do people still macro meatlumps outside of Tyrena or do they drop off higher llv mobs only?

ATM crystal drops suck - Nightsister elder used to drop prems but now they drop good!!! Krayts drops are dodgy aswell , not 100% sure but i think only the higher LvL ones are dropping qualitys pearls.

only thing worth looting is a DJM npc which is lvl 270 so 1 hit kill

depends...if ur looking for color crystals...then just about anything drops them, best spot i found is corsair camp that is on lok..its a poi....spent a hour and half the other day and looted 20+ crystals with about 7 clear ones....the clear ones there are typically rate i believe fair. for the better clear crystals nightsisters are the place to go

Ok, so everyone knows what mobs drop pearls. What mobs drop crystals and do they still drop? I know mokks used to but I haven't looted one for some time now. Did they stop?

I have heard that they do not, although I haven't hunted them myself for a long time. I think those that I knew in my city looting crystals recently came from NS Elders.

Mokks usually only drop color crystals, and rarely at that these days.

I am just wondering what MOB's drop crystals? I'm looking to pick up a couple for decoration purposes and don't feel like spending the creds to buy them.

I haven't looted any color crystals post-cu but I've gotten good crystals off Spell Weavers and premiums off the Dark Jedi Master....I would try janta and mokk mobs for color crystals

Unless they have changed it. The place I had the best luck getting crystals was the Tusken Fort. Easy mobs and they dropped regularly. Not the best but they did come frequent.
