Well killed over 40 nightsisters and honestly looted 4 wooly hides. Yes you read correctly 4 wooly hides. All were lvl 80 or higher.
One of our guildies looted A FOCUSED CRYSTAL from a PICKET!!!!!!!
I am soooo glad SOE "Fixed" loot to match the difficulty level.
I have 4 wooly hides for sale

tbh, I wouldn't bother hunting high end mobs until the devs have cleaned up the loot tables. So don't expect great things from NS elders, etc. until they do.

Focused crystals are villiage rewards, not loot.
And I hunt nightsisters quite often and if nothing else, get a slicing component (mandalorian intraframe or whatever) every 5 or 6 kills, lots of power crystals too.

It's for the level 3 slice of hardness on armor if I'm not mistaken.

Think whatever you want, but I have a dozen of these ready to be popped onto my friends vendor.
Every few kills they drop vibro lances too, always junk though. I only fight the CL85 ones though (stalkers or sentinels, always mix those 2 names up, pretty sure it's sentinels), if you can't get decent loot try killing those.

So... something "fixed" is actually not working...
I'm SO shocked!
Is there a list of these fixed bugs somewhere? I think that would be funny to see, as the buttslides fixed.... sorry, i still do 20-30 meters ones hehe
Uhmmm, though... is there a list of "working" things? I think it would be shorter /halo

i was BSing the focused crystal from the picket. there is no way that is possible. i dont doubt that their group might of had some bad luck and only got the hide from the NS.

well tell me which NS type your killing because I killed them on sunday for 6 hours over 120 dead.. and i got one red crystal and tons of retarded lances. and thats it.

Yup, last time I went NS slaying I looted nothing but complete rubbish. Mind you, Krayts aren't much better either - they've started dropping "Composite Armor Segments" in stacks of one... LOL
Oh, I forgot... they have no stats whatsoever

Well i quite like the loot as it is
The other day while killing nightsisters i looted 3 units of domesticated meat and 3 units of carnivore meat.
At first i thought it was pretty useless, but then i remembered i had looted a Krayt Composite armor segment which i could use as a hot plate to cook it on

Yeah I am an armorsmith and those segements can't be used in anything at all.
I sent in a ticket and got a canned response (shocking) saying that "Sometimes creatures just drop useless items" (something like that). Do they even bother to check onto these things? They see someone complaining about loot and figure send them the canned loot response! Fact is Krayts were not dropping these before and now no cores and these things re useless!! I bugged it too, but considering they can never admit to making a mistake I doubt I these segments will be converted into anything. :'(
