Thread: Krayts seem to be spawning again...

So we go out hunting after the server reset yesterday and bag a couple of krayts, we did ok loot wise.
We came out again this morning to pick up anyone we missed yesterday and there are krayts EVERYWHERE! We kill one or 2 giants and stop to regen, and an ancient pops right on top of us.
So yes, it seems krayts are finally spawnign again!

Can you confirm if your server had a restart? Or anything remarkable (resets, restarts, etc.) that would make the spawn rate change from yesterday to today?
Because on Eclipse the spawn rate is seriously below normal and droprates are very, very bad (20 kratys, 0 loot, about 4 days ago).

what is special about krayts? they dont drop nice things, do they?

i can usually find 3-4 spawns (canyon and juvie, or a giant) within 500m of each other on whome all the time. i never hunt the poi, although, im at 22 in a row without looting a perl....

Heh lucky you guys.. the krayts earlier today on chilastra were bugged..... they wouldnt attack back.... and the ones that wouldnt attack back didnt drop any loot..... so its screwed.. if they did drop loot it would be aweosme because anyone could do it.. but they dont

Dude I find about 500 Krayts a day by Sarlacc City on Starsider.....THE KRAYT POPULATION IS OVERWHELMING US HERE!

i get that no attack thing every 4th or 5th, but they sometimes drop stuff too.

I noticed the krayt population was very healthy on radiant yesterday too. I found a spot that had three pairs spawned in a perfect triangle around a group of a dozen NPCs who were more then happy to help the fight along. I only got one pearl, a set of scales and really nice set of tissues though.
