Once there was a time where you received this ultra-cool looking Endor Combat Helmet from Wedge Antilles on the Reb Theme Park! Now you only get a lousy stinking Rebel Signet Ring which you could loot anywhere else too!
What is the reason that SOE removed this helmet?
I got this Helmet on my oldest char and it was the main reason why I started the reb theme park!
How about putting back this Helmet into game and give it some nice attributes? I'm dying to get this Helmet on my new char again!!

Yes this item was a real Star Wars item. Unlike some clothing that does not give it that star wars feel.

1. Ok, but I'm curious anyway how many other players would be interested in this.
2. I don't see any timeline violation with these helmets! The Alliance could have them for a long time but maybe they were first shown in ROTJ (Because they don't wear these green Helmets on Hoth or they had white ones there

3. The Helmet is now pretty rare as only players who already played SWG 1-2 years ago might still have the helmet. New players don't get it anymore. I'm not sure when the helmet was removed but it's been quite a while ago.
And why should these Helmets be rare items? They are an army equipment for every rebel soldier just like Stormtrooper helmets for imperial soldiers.
Instead they put the unstarwarsy rebel armor into the game which (except for the assault armor) looks just gay IMHO.
As Stark-Fuji said these Helmets are a real Star Wars item. Not like all this stuff that came with ROTW, vodoo stuff from Kashyyk etc. This is Star Wars, not Everquest!

1. Petitions don't work and the devs have stated they don't even read them.
2. They removed it because it somehow violated timeline reality (oh noes) by bringing in something from ROTJ into our era, though that isn't worth much as an excuse nowadays.
3. No. It was a rare item, now it's not. Sort of like the NS bicep. It lets certain loot become ultra rare and collectable, which is good for the unique experience some collectors want from the game. Otherwise we'd all just be able to get every time of loot in the game with a little persistent and whining, thereby diminishing the reason we capture the loot (rarity) in the first place.

even though my main character has one of these helmets, whih i bought for 3 million credits. i would love to see this brought back into the game.
the only people that do not want it back in the game are the people that want to sell rare loot for $$$$$$$.

It was in the themepark revamp (what was that, december 03 or something? don't remember..) that they took this item out.

bah, saw some reb NPCs in theed wearing them and i was like..cool.
so now we cant getthem but Npcs can...like the NPC in mando armour minus the helmet
