Thread: Black Sun Ace Helmet: Armor or Clothing????

Either I can't understand the rules, or they keep changing them...
At first, we couldn't use the saber while wearing the black sun helmet (it's armor).
Then, when they changed the nightsister bracer to clothing, it seemed that the helm could be worn while using the saber (it's clothing).
But even though it offered no protection (it's clothing), it lost condition FAST during combat (it's armor). It went from 100/100 to 0/100 in one fight...
Now, it seems that i cannot use the saber while wearing a helmet at 0/100 nor an anti-decayed helmet at 100/100 (it's armor).
I've tried putting tickets in to resolve this connundrum, but I got CSR telling me this: "After the Combat Upgrade conversion, all clothing takes damage durning combat, not just decay from cloning" (This is incorrect.)
Any suggestions? Ideas? Comments? Observations?

before the patch that made ns bracers clothing? pre-cu? did your helmet lose condition? was it anti-decayed?

Was AFTER the combat upgrade, no anti decayed, went down to 0/100, after i took it off and tried to use it again, was classed as armor

This is one hell of a problem! The BSA is a cool lookin helmet and you jedi should get to wear them if they offer no protection, just like the bicep

i have the exact same problem with the rotj helmets.
shortly after cu, just a random shot from anything took them to zero, and now they are armor.
got the same uninformed response from a csr as well.

at 100/100 new cond orpristine with ADK it is clothing
after first damage or damage with ADK it becomes armor

same problem and its ticking me off....i'll try sending pm's to some dev's with a link to this post its stupid when the BSA is one of the rarest loots currently in the game and we can't wear it.

make sure to mention the rotj helm as well, id imagine the same goes for the bicep too.

I sold an extra one i had laying around, i told the guy about this buy, but he uses it on his jedi, its at 0 condition and its still clothing =/
