Thread: Kashyyykian 2-Handed Sword

I have one of these on loan for my museum. They do not seem to be a frequent drop and are proving hard to find.


I have been quessing they are a random loot drop from the Avatar.


Can anyone confirm this?

Ahhh. That makes more sense. I know that people have also looted Kashyyykian Bladesticks from the Arena Champion. I bet it randomly determines which weapon drops from him. Thanks.

They are also amazingly hard to find through the vendor search through the bazaar. They do not show up in the list of 2-handed weapons. I have "bugged" this numerous times and they have yet to fix it.


BTW, if anyone who reads this is from Intrepid I am trying to get these for the Wookiee Cultural Center museums. Please contact me if you have one for sale on Intrepid.

Mkay, well yall got this all messed up.

The sword comes from when you kill the champion, loot from him. If you be the nice guy and spare him you get the bladestick

As I understand it, you get the Champion's Sword as a reward if you spare his life.


If you kill him, you can loot the body and get a weapon. I have had people tell me of two different weapons that they looted from him so far -- a bladestick and a Kashyyykian 2-handed sword. Therefore, I am concluding that it gives different loot at different times.


You can also get a Kashyyykian Bladestick by completing the Missing Son quest.

I have had another confirmation of someone looting a Kashyyykian 2-handed Sword from the Arena Champion.

Killing champ, 2h sword, LD-1 rifle. Outcast badge

Sparing him, Champ sword, cool kashyyk furniture set, a couple other dew hickies. Blood hunter badge

OK. Not meaning to pick a fight here. There is a difference between a quest reward and loot from a dead body. The 2-handed sword you got off the Champion's body is loot, not a quest reward. Other people have confirmed that they looted a Kashyyykian bladestick from the Champion's body. Therefore, the logical conclusion is that different people are getting different loot from the Champion's body.


So, since the Bladestick shows up as a quest reward for the Lost Son quest and has also shown up as a loot drop from the Champion, I am wondering if the Kashyyykian 2-handed sword shows up in more than one place.


That is what I am trying to determine here. Has anyone found one anywhere else, either as loot or as a quest reward?

An item won't appear on vendor search if: a) There is no vendor that has that item for sale or b) There is no category for it like cybernetic arms.

Don't save the guy's life. The champion's sword is much worse than the Nyenthi'oris that guy gives you earlier.



I only saved him because I didn't really want to fight him, as I was by myself. (I just ran around the arena when the creatures spawned and the aggro dropped and eventually despawned.) Seriously though, bring some friends, and kill him.

I should have said "vendor browse". The items will show up in their categories even if there is not one for sale. I browse looking for Wookiee items for my museum a couple of times a week. There are a lot of them that are empty when I click on them and look.






No, in order for the items to show up, someone has to have had them up for sale (auction) at SOME point. It's like unlocking a slot. It won't show up on the bazaar/vendor until SOMONE puts one up for sale.
