Thread: Camping Loot amazingly once again
And once again the devs have created a loot camping nightmare with the jedi robes. The people that want to complete the quest are blocked by camping groups and anyone who is trying to get the loot is blocked from getting it by people who aren't even jedi!
Smooth move devs.
mustafar....where you can go and quest til your hearts explode....or until you run into a group of 8 that is maxed on damage per sec and will not let you join and usually say
"get your own group noob"
"well we need a cloak for all 32 members of our guild and since 24 of them did not buy the expansion we are getting them one"
"i need money, so we are gonna loot 30 of these things and make bank"
soe really thinks ahead don't they
Well, they do say when you log in:
"Mustafar, once a simple mining planet, now suffers in the merciless grip of greed."
So I guess you could say it's working as intended.
dumbest thing in the world was making the jedi robe a loot item, should of been a quest item atleast, or just giving to us from the shrine

Let me add more detail...the 'campers' are oftenplayers that are interested in loot AND completing a quest. This is for ALL players...not just Jedi. This is leading to very unpleasant confrontations. Nothing like waiting 3.5 hours with a group to have another group of 20 minutes take the target....that 'really' fosters great galaxy and in-game relations...
Then we have ridiculous timers on instances that can and shouldhandle more. It is obvious you were worried more about players grinding....but once again, the high/uberloot spawns go unchecked. ANY NPC that ispart of a quest should not be targeted by a non-quester, and evenwhen aquest is done successfully, it should not be available again. The cloaks that are causing problems should be a quest or very RANDOM drops from various NPCs.
I would suggest that this situation gets resolved in a timely fashion.

Why bother with any request? The feedback from beta obviously had no effect.
i just want to say that the camping isnt that bad over here on flurry... and the jedi camping have been nice enough to let people join the group - with RANDOM loot on, to be a part of the kills so they can finish their quests
try asking instead of just being turned off by a large group of people, you might be surprised.
