"Can you give any information on what the "Digital Download" advertised on the SWG site is? From the description given it appears to offer the expansion a week earlier than the retail box...
Actually, the digital download will be available to subscribers on May 5th, two full weeks before the movie releases. And anyone currently playing the game that downloads the new Rage of the Wookiees expansion will automatically get the Varactyl mount as an added bonus for downloading.
Folks new to the Star Wars Galaxies experience can buy an all-in-one pack starting may 26th that will have the original ground game, plus Jump to Lightspeed (the “space” part of the game) and the brand new Rage of the Wookiees expansion. The all-in-one pack also comes with the BARC speeder from Episode III Revenge of the Sith as an Exclusive item. "

If true I'll be cancelling my pre order and wait for the retail version!

It's truely horriblew news indeed, and it sounds like a lot of people will simply cancel the pre-order and wait for the all-in-one box to come out. I'll probably just buy both and register the bundle as an expansion...

yup but will that work?
I tried to register a SE copy to get the goggles as an expansion and it wouldn't let me do it so I would not rely on that.

That blows. That speeder is bad ass looking. just one more thing I'll never have.

are we sure that the BARC speeder is only for purchasing the game? I only remember seeing the mount as being the pre-order special. I would expect the speeder to be a crafted item like the other speeders. It would be lame to include a speeder with JTL and with ROTW

Well...the interview clearly states it is only obtainable as a exclusive item for buying the all in one package.
Until we get clarification on this from a dev all we can do is wonder as usual. It would seriously suck imho if it were true, feels like a big slap in the face with a wet smelly fish.

Thats rediculous, they should make it a lootable schematic or quest item....
When I pre ordered I never recieved my Flash Speeder which I was very mad at

I feel very misled by this news, I was under the direct impression that by buying Rage of the Wookiee's we would have access to the BARC Speeder regardless of preorder, all-in-one pack, special edition or whatever else there may be.
Bad form, SOE, very disappointing news

Great so not only do those that already have JTL get shafted into spending more, it seems that those that dont preorder RotW get a better reward.
